Er, excuse me, but would you mind telling us the whole point of this thread. I missed it. There's already The359's Master Car List if that's what you're after.

And Porsche is just a dream.

The point of this thread I believe.........is to show our appreciation that theres a heap (not enough still!) of German cars in......

Great for people like myself! Can't wait to race 350Zs with my Z4 👍

dude its not about the list, what i'm saying is that they are going to kick ass, its not which cars im telling that are going to be in becuse we mostly know

It certainly is going to kick ass 👍

First thing I'll do is save up for the Z4 3.0 👍

Gosh I wish there were some classic BMWs, Mercs and Audis in. And more 2nd hand choices....

BMW E30 would be great

Maybe someone should start a "German Cars Not In GT4" thread... it's about as useful as this one...

Excuse me but there are some German car loyalists here.

We're just extremely happy this time round, theres a decent choice of our favourite cars.

I wouldn't call Minis German. And Zlaja, that looks like it was lifted straight off The359's list because of the (6 - 1 - 0) next to the Opel list. And he won't like that.

First Minis Are OWNED BY BMW SO THEY BELONG TO US>
About The359's list stayed on the gt planet and did not go anywhere so i see no reason for him to be mad at me

the New Golf 2.0FSI would be a great hatch addition as well.......

Seeing that theres 30 or so Civics..........a few golfs would be more then appreciated.

Oh and how about the good ol' Golf V6s from the 90s? Those were fantastic.

E36 BMW M3 and some other 1990s BMWs and Audis would be good too

The old ones arent German but the new ones certainly are.

And the Bentleys are now owned by Volkswagen.

calling a Bentley german is like calling Subaru american.....................
Just because it's now owned by a different company it doesn't make it a german car.

(for those who missed my point, subaru is owned by Fuji Heavy Industries, which is owned 10 percent by General Motors)
Saab on the other hand is a perfect example of a car that is under new ownership and is of that new country.
I consider saab to be an american company now. It's owned 100 percent by GM, it's designed behind a glass door partition within GM's design building.

And where did you get the information from that Porsche will be included in the game?

Those are only rumours. There will be no Porsches and Ferraris in GT4, because Polyphony doesn't have a license and therefor isn't allowed to put them in the game. Of course, a lot of people would love that, and there are car wishlists including Ferraris and Porsches labeled as official lists. But that's only a dream ...

You got Merc is the list but you missed out Chrysler.

Opens potential big can of worms and runs away.

We are coming full speed, move over american muscle.

Umm, no. If your goin to start telling manufacturers to move over, you should worry about the Japanese makers alot more. Simply because of their sheer numbers in the game. I also that was a pretty cheesy poke at US cars.

Not to be a jerk or anything...but I would wait until the game is released until making such a profound statement.

See example below, regarding Resident Evil 4 being ported to PS2 (note the before and after posts). Quite entertaining

I don't know how long you've been reading the statements and discussions about GT4, but this has been discussed a million times already, which won't change the facts:

Polyphony doesn't have a license for Porsche or Ferrari, so they won't be included in the game. I'd really love to see them, but I'm afraid this won't happen.
