Then add;

- Road America
- Spa
- Phillip Island
- Oulton park
- Knockhill
- Donington
- Imola
- Old Silverstone from the 60's
- Malaysia GP track
.

It's like looking at the front cover of a porn Mag :-)

Now add as well:

Yas Marina
Silverstone (modern + all layouts)
COTA (all layouts)
Hungaroring
Twin Ring Motegi (all layouts)
Hockenheim (all layouts)
Daytona (all layouts)
Indianapolis (all layouts)

Edit: OOPS forgot!!!! Pikes Peak now that PD has the rights to it and both dirt and bitumen layouts. At least then you could use all these GR B cars for something useful!!!!!!

Also it wouldn't hurt to include:

Midfield
Gran Valley
Deep Forest

Then, put some decent sound on and stop all the cars driving the same bland way!

That thread title suggest a rant about the flaws of GTS, but im just getting bored. I really cant say for sure why. Yes the physics took a step to the dull side for the gr3 - all that understeer makes cornering a task of sliding (front) through corners. Theres not much of dynamic feel with gr3 - nor in ffb.. (tgt)

There is just occasional good car/track combo in dailies, but mostly i just run sport tt trying to improve. I even get bored of that more and more.

Anyone else experiencin similar loss of interest?

It happens to me occasionally. I get off the game for two weeks and then start again. I then choose one FIA race I practice for excessively. And bathe in the resulting wins and podiums. Kinda works for me.

I also invite a FB community I‘m in to endurance races whenever a new track comes out, for some fun and camaraderie.

I’ve been kinda bored for a long while: For most of 2018, I only race FIA Manufacturer. For 2019 even that pretty much stopped for me.

But the physics have me coming back some and I’m doing FIA Manufacturer again :dopey:

I usually play once every 2 months or so...I do all the Updates
GT5/6 i used to play almost every day but GTS...NO!
BUT I play everyday FIFA 19...
Me too. I played GT5 and GT6 on my PS3 almost every day too when I was a teenager.

But I didn't play Gran Turismo Sport every day because this game lacks most cars from past Gran Turismo games, most courses from past Gran Turismo games, special events, the course maker, GT Auto, customization, etc.

Instead, what I play almost every day are Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on my Nintendo Switch and the role-play.

Do you drift? Competing for speed is cool but that's where the real endless fun of cars is.

I get where you're coming from with that last physics update. I'm not skilled enough to say if it's more realistic than the previous tail happy physics or not but it's nowhere near as much fun as it used to be. Too numb and forgiving. One saving grace is a lot of the higher powered road cars are much easier to drive and road cars are my thing. Always a combo I haven't done and that keeps me coming back.

If you're always waiting for combos to come up that you like, I'm not surprised you're getting bored. I've lost count of the tracks and/or cars I've initially thought were crap but a lot of them soon grew on me after another look. Not Tsukuba though. Anything but Tsukuba.

Try mixing things up to see if you can find a bit of inspiration.

Are you using a physical copy or a download? I downloaded mine, never had a problem in game (stuck in pit/grid) and only ever had one disconnect from a daily race. Never deleted the cache on my standard PS4 either.

The more likely culprit is your console, game disk, hard drive or a bugged game install, not the game itself.
Sorry for going off topic but could you please explain the reasons for your tsukuba aversion a bit?

They could add all those tracks but we'd still getting fuji and suzuka week after week.

I chose the FGT for GT5's 9 hour endurance race there...

About a 1000 consecutive laps in an 800hp single seater leaves a very serious mental scar and. My hands were claws for hours.:ill:

Tsukuba racing for me is at its best for ~N300 cars on sport tyres, and is also the best place to race these, so much close battling on all types of corners on a very short lap.. It deserves another shot!
