Getting Fallout 3 - PS3 vs. XBOX360

Well, I've ordered an XBOX 360 Elite with Fallout 3. I'm waiting to ship and pay it though, Fallout is currently sold out and I'll have to wait until 16 February for it to become available again. But still, two arcade games are coming with it, and together with Fallout 3 this 'Box is still a whopping 100 bucks cheaper. The thing that made me decide are all the parts that are included with the Elite for such a cheap price. Plus the fact that I'm not going to spend any money on Live until all three FO3 expansion packs have arrived, make the ELite only cheaper.

On that, I also highly doubt that I'll be purchasing any other games. If played as planned (only an hour per day in weekends), I'll probably have finished this game by the time I'm going to college. And besides, how much time do people spend anyway on playing games when going to college.

On that, an Elite with three games, I think that it won't be a problem to get it sold when I'm tired of it ;)

I'm not sure how things work if price is not an issue but you say twice how "cheaper" it is, then why waste money on an "Elite" system to basically play one game? Pro/Premium just not an option?

An hour a day on Fallout 3 a day is just not going to happen. Every one hour you think you'll do is going to turn in to 1 and a half addition a hours :).

That all depends on what kind of a student you plan on being. When I was in college, I spent more time playing video games than I did on school work, which is a big no no.:dunce:

Congratulations on purchasing the Elite. I think you'll like the Xbox very much and the controller for the 360 is actually very comfortable. I have Fallout 3 for the 360 (bought it due to DLC also) and trust me when I say you won't be able to only play the game for one hour. You might want to finish the game before going to college because there is a big chance you might drop out due to the game being pretty addicting.

Because the site from which I'll be buying it offers an Elite with two games for a cheaper price than a Pro 'BOX with only half the HDD space ;) I just could not resist the offer.
