Getting rid of Jaggies.....

Can someone tell me how I can either

A) get rid of the jaggies all together
-or-
B) get a smooth transition between the two colours..

I have come across a tutorial before but I've lost it...

What program are you using? Photoshop? Paintshop Pro? Fireworks?

I have PS7 and I know how to do it, but I'm not sure if PS6 is similar.

Select the shape that you want and it's toolbar appears. Select the "Fill Pixels" button and check the "Anti-aliasing" option.
