getting started with tuning

hi.
im not new to the gran turismo games and thier style but one thing i have never done (succesfully) is tuned a car for its max potentional. Could anyone start me off?

How do you guys get so much HP out of the cars other than with the engine upgrades?

Start off upgrading basic engine parts (race toggles, exhausts...), then head over to Turbo (for cars with this capability) and start seeing some significant HP boosts!

Getting massive HP is easy, its the control that makes the tune.

Look at the help pages in game for info on Suspension, LSD, Transmission, Aerodynamics, etc.

Start by checking out the top of this forum for Scaffs tuning guides. Written for GT4, but still very helpful. 👍

In the tuning section of your garage click on the parts you want to tune and anything that is customizable will have a little yellow/orange question mark at the top. Clicking on this tells you what those parts do and how you should change them depending on what you want.
