Using the MKS program to hybrid how can i get that sound when swaping turbos. reason i swapped the Toyo GT One race cars turbo to a civic and i cant head the blow off :indiff:

Thanks for the welcome & the vice buddy....the thing is a remember bucking it up else where just not sure where?????

I think most turbo-charged cars in the game have a dump valve, but some are louder than others. The GT One and Lancia Delta Integrale spring to mind as two of the loudest. I'm not absolutely certain though as most of my favourite cars are NA.

The sound of a car is determined by its engine, so tickaz would have had to use the GT One engine in his Civic rather than its turbo. Hybrids aside, I think if you buy a turbo for a car that starts off as NA you won't get the dump valve noise either.

ok well i was hoping that i cud the the dump valve/blow off sound without having to change the engine

If you have a gameshark, you might be able to do a work around. You'll still need to change the engine, but IIRC there is a power multiplier code. You could swap the GT One engine into your Civic, and then use the power multiplier code to reduce the power to a realistic level.

The engine still wouldn't sound like a Civic, but you'd have the dump valve noise and it wouldn't be overpowered. I don't have much knowledge of using codes to do Hybrids, but one of the other guys would be able to help you out if you posted a request in the Hybrids and Gamesharks forum.

...however, I seriously doubt that Famine would be interested in helping with such a silly request as making a neat little riceboy "Pshhh" every time you shift your Civic.

I could be wrong, though; it's been known to happen. He might be off his medication or something.

I think one of the loudest PSSSHHHH in the game isn;t from a ricer, but from the Ruf CTR2..correct me if I am wrong, but I have to turn down the volume on that one a bit when driving it !

Huh? The RUF CTR2, is almost silent (though if you listen it has a sweet low sound), hard to hear any engine noises, especially if any other cars are around it.

The GT-one or Lancia are the loudest (and most annoying) IMHO.

If memory serves, you must duplicate the GT-One's Turbo1, Turbo2, Turbo3, Turbo4, Turbo5 and Turbo6 lines in order to get the GT-One's turbo BOV noise.

*takes meds again*

And TwinTurboJay - I wouldn't exactly call the Toyota GT-One Race Car a "ricer".

Ok kool I'll mimic the Gt Ones turbo setup for my civic and since it is a twin turbo I'll come back with my findings,

BTW thanks Famine 👍

I get the Jamacian terminologies, understand them well.... didn't know you were Jamacian though, therefore I excuse the use of the jamacian terms for you. I thought you were just trying to be cool.

Though I have never actually seen Jamacian dialect typed before.

Everyting be ire mon....no worries.

Try to avoid that. We are an international site. If something is important enough to you that you take the time to type it, try to type it so that as many people as possible can read it.

The loudest BOV in the game is from that little box of a car, the Suzuki Alto Works or something. It's so crappy but the blow off is massive.

Ok no prob. BTW what is difference (if there is) if i simply change the turbo using the MK's program i.e. swapping the turbo or by adjusting the ini lines of the original turbo for the civic Sir II?

Every time during a race you see the needle of the RPM meter reaching the red line, open a can of beer. It'll make a great Psshhhh sound.
Warning : don't try that for endurance races.

I would like that sound to go off whenever I finisha sentence..

"So, funny thing happened on my way to...blah blah blah . ****PSSSSSHHHHHHHHHH****
