Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter

Ah nuts I'm at the end of that level TVR but I appear to have been bitten by the bug. Everyone's dead, everything is destroyed but no checkpoint complete ! Known bug by the looks of it, looks like I need to do the whole level again. :(

I had trouble with that too... you have to have the tanks kill off all the baddies, then you can continue in the direction you need to go.... (extraction)
 
It is, there's ads for the Charger and Magnum all over along with NOKIA and AXE/LYNX. I'm at the end part now and boy it's difficult. The end is near about 16 hours later and for a challenge I went for Hard first. lol

This game is immense.
 
I have just finished uploading a fairly high-quality video of the first part of the final mission. No spoilers as such but if you guys who have or are getting the game don't want to know where to shoot and what to watch out for then don't watch it. It also shows how to use your squad fairly effectively and that they do have a certain level of intelligence in them.

Hey Deap just saw you put another video, very nice, that mission was quite tough but nothing compared to what you have to do later.

Yeah. If the game was too easy, there wouldn't be any point to buy that game. Though without the Icon like the last video you made where you hardly see the enemie make the game extremly realistic. :)
 
I'm sure this has been asked and demonstrated before... but for some reason, the search engine won't work at my workstation... so how do you guys capture videos from your 360? with a tivo or something? or directly to your PC somehow?

My Graphic card of my PC is a capture card also. ATI All In Wonder 9800 pro. It's have been 5 months I got it. I've paid 199,99$(Can)"approx. 169$ US" for it at futureshop. What I like is that I can record in a perfect interlaced quality at 30 frame per sec. Though in perfect quality it take more than 1GB per min. It take all the bandwidth of my hard drive while recording. I have an advantage over people who use PCI capture card. 👍
 
ok so basically, there is no way to capture directly from the 360... its a matter of video capture to Tivo or PC via a pc2tv card. aight.

The funny part about the dodge advertising is that there are also trucks in the cities that look like newer chevy silverados, but they look dirty and beat up.

Thats probably because any hard working man knows that he needs a chevy to get the job done right, not some dodge show truck ;)

I just bought a new PC otherwise I would have a 360 right now.
 
yeah I just got it yesterday, didnt play too far into it yet but its a great looking game, probably one of the best out for the 360 right now.

Didnt the previous ghost recons give you the option to have 1 guy stick with you and then you can command the other two guys to move to another location? Im probably thinking of RB6

I dont think the other GR allowed you to control any of the other guys. I could be wrong. I know the Socom games allow you to control other soldiers.

Haha... honestly I think I switched them off in the 2nd mission and I basically never noticed all this time cause I've been without them for so long. Playing on hard with no icons at all makes for a very intense but fun game !

I agree, but like i said before it is a must buy. AJ want some games maybe later, and if you want PM me your gamertag mate.
 
This game is definitely good, but more for its single player campaign than anything else. The online multiplayer is full of problems, especially the "can't play ranked games with your friends" aspect. The solo campaign has been outstanding so far, but if you're looking for an online shooter that takes some time to really become good at, Perfect Dark Zero is a much better option. GRAW's online doesn't compare at all to PDZ. I'll probably be playing GRAW until I beat the campaign, but after that it'll probably be back to Perfect Dark for multiplayer. Just my two cents.

The ghost recon co-op mode online was always the best. I also never cared much for the other modes online with the ranking so I just stuck to co-op with friends. Never got old. Have you tried the Co-op yet?

I think they do that so you can't "cheat" your way to the top of the leaderboards, by letting friends win, or friends letting you win. You want to be ranked among the best? You have to play against them and win.

You really should try out the co-op mode online. You can play thru any of the levels with your friends against the computer. You can also set it up so there are respawns. 👍

Unlimited seriously??? How many did you kill before you ended the game? 100? 200? That would be so much fun! The most on GR2 was 151 and that was a blast.
