I played this beta for a couple hours yesterday and found it to be fairly fun. Reminds me of a mix between RSV and Gears Of War. The servers are hit and miss. Sometimes they work well, sometimes they are down for hours.
 
i played this morning and got disconected twice lol, from what i played i agree its like RSV & GEARS but in a good way.
 
Well eventually got a chance to play a few a games. Not blown away by it tbh. It felt like a ghost recon game in the movement etc which is good but the few games i played were very boring as 90% of the people playing were just sitting round a corner and waiting for people to run though. Campers paradise game tbh.


Will still give it a few mroe goes to see if i can get into it more.
 
While I agree that its really nothing spectacular, it is a little better with a team that goes for the objectives. I am still trying to decide if I want to rent or buy this game. I have purchased every GR game but not sure about this one. Hopefully they show more about the co-op campaign. I am afraid the co-op campaign will be very short. Hopefully I am wrong.

Exactly. But Camaroboy said, it's better when you are with a team that is really going for objectives. Not seeing this happening in random online matches though.. :grumpy:

Located where your ring fingers normally grip the bottom of the controller, these XL, textured buttons are easy to find and can be used without removing your fingers from other controller buttons. Pre ordering means Signature edition, wich comes with some cool extras. 1 Co-op map and 1 exclusive map, 2 extra weapons + 2 extra weapon skins and 48 headgear skins.
 
I have purchased every GR game. But I still have not decided if I am buying this yet. The lack of information, videos, and feedback from the community is usually not a good sign. TDU2 had the same problem. Hardly any information or feedback was discussed before the released and it ended up being a disaster. So I am a bit nervous about this game especially after all the issues this beta had. I will at least rent it for the 4 player co-op campaign. Not that interrested in the mp. The worst part about the co-op is that you can ONLY play it with friends. That really kills this game for me.
 
I pre ordered the signature edition :D Including the controller. Hope it'll be good. Also hoping more people on my XB friends list are going to play this game. If so, I'm loving the co-op mode!

Hey Carlos, hit me up sometime when you get this. Co-op is fun. Its hard though since this and the Porsche pack released, I am overwhelmed!

I do not believe i have you on my FL but if you havnt sent one yet I'll send one when i get on. Cant wait to try it out, especially because I always hated the lack of teamwork on COD. Sad though because all of my friends will never get off the COD bandwagon. They try to make excuses, but the only reason thats the only shooting game they pllay is because its easy. They've tried games like socom and were absolutely terrible at it, so i doubt they'd try another third person shooter.

Although just one of my friend's have already picked it up so I'm glad for that.
 
Then you are in for a treat, I have been a SOCOM and Ghost Recon player since 2004-05 and find this one to be right up there with em if not better. Well you always know you can send me an invite if you need a team player or someone to fill up the 4 man squad in Co-op......IMO best team oriented game this generation.
 
Oh you guys played SOCOM too?! That game was so awesome, I don't think I had any more fun than I had in that game.

I don't know where the postman is, I ordered the game + controller (from the same store) and I only got the controller today..... Very strange.

And ofcourse I'm also a fan of Co-Op so feel free to invite me too :D

I got the redeem codes via email (still haven't got the game) but it's a weird code.. It's like this: xxx-xxxx-xxxx and so on but the beginning is what's the problem. Normally it begins with 5 characters, not 3.. So I can't redeem it..

Maybe theres some kind of redeem code thing in game? Thats all i could think of. Ever since i knew GWFS came out this week, i look at COD as a boring boring game and have not been able to pick it up whatsoever. The anticipation of getting GW on tuesday has made COD seem unplayable haha.
 
Yes, the codes with the odd #sequence are entered via in game menu (Downloadable Content) all other with typical XBOX sequence are entered normally.

Tuesday seems to be a lifetime away. Wish these days would pass faster as I've been so anxious to play haha
 
Got the game last night,actually my gf got it for me, shes so nice haha. She was probably mad that i played it all night though. I'm really enjoying it so far.. i like how they give you a path to follow, but dont restrict you in a way. You can go stealth or balls out(most of the time). So far I'm liking the campaign alot more then the COD campaign, it seems to have me more enticed and aware i guess you can say.

Tried one game of the multiplayer last night before i went to bed as well. I need to play with friends badly.. The team i was playing with wasnt doing jack. The other team was well into the 200 in conflict i think, and ours hasnt even hit the 100's haha. It seemed like i was the only one going after the objective. Other then that i really liked how it was set up, once i got used to the pace it was really fun. One thing i really liked is that it wasnt nearly as campy as i thought it was going to be. Utilizing tactics like flanking and what not was just great, especially when you catch more then half the team off guard and just run down there line from the back.
 
Right on! Yeah many people are hating on the game and I can't understand why. I guess they rather have non-stop action all the time, I prefer taking it slow, thinking about your next move and then execute. It is a game not for everyone but eventually the haters will move on.

There were so many moments during the campaign (still haven't beat it yet) that were just flat out badass. I love coordinating my shots with the AI or real teammates and never triggering the attention of the enemy until we move up a few yards. Also the cover system was a little hard to get used to but tell me when you are getting fired upon the fact that your character ducks even further and the cinematics are awesome! I love it.

Like you said last night, when you are ready to team up in co-op or MP, let me know, I find this game to be one of the best team oriented games to date!
 
Sounds good boys! I still don't have it :banghead: Got an e-mail from the store I bought it, it's delayed blabla that was pretty obvious. :boggled: But they said I could cancel it if I don't want to wait any longer. And that's fine, becaus I already got the promo codes via e-mail from them ;) So I can buy the normal version in the store and upgrade it with the codes :D When I'm done from work I'm going to get it, and maybe even play with you guys 👍
