But I wish to have one to keep...
What if that person takes the reservation I made in playnthru's thread for the vspecII?

If you have a USB stick and can search duping for instructions? You can keep a copy for yourself.👍

That's what we all do(mostly).👍

Me, Me, Me, Me. Does it never stop?

First you show up begging for all GTA Cars. That didn't happen as quickly as your OCD might like, so you started begging for Silver Chrome and Gold Chrome.

Then you started trying to trade said Chromes for GTA cars.👎

You mooch off of this entire Forum shamelessly, then when anyone asks you for anything, you wonder what YOU can get out of it.

Any chance you had of getting anything substantial is quickly dwindling. Do you think that you are so slick that we can't see right through your little scammy games. Shame on you for trying to take way too much advantage of the generosity here. You should feel terrible, but I'm sure that you are just focusing on how to mooch your next whatever from whomever.

Kudos to the guys that are way more tolerant than I , and still give you stuff in spite of the way you operate. It says a lot about the generosity of the people here, that someone like you would act this way, yet still be enabled by people who can very clearly see what you are all about.

I'm just not all that tolerant, and I surely won't be enabling any abusers.........:dunce:

Not accurate. I went through the entire marketplace looking for threads to which I have the cars they want. I.e cotedazur06 with his lotus Carlton, and mr_nascar with his irocz and saxplayer with his mrs-s, legacy wagon and altezza, I don't ask for much in return, except for cars and paints which I cannot get myself(GTA cars, and chromes), I always have offered something in return but no-one ever asks for anything, so to them I am grateful. And by the way I wouldn't ask for a car that I don't intend to use.

you have tolerance = 0...

..........please someone show you the way (link) of USB trick for this boy.

^I don't ask others to risk their games, what do you take me for? Some kind of criminal?

I don't want to take the risk of my game save corrupting.

You have it backwards. Saving the game onto a USB stick is a life saver. The game corrupting can happen any time. Example? You enter any A/B-Spec, Online Seasonals and after you finish...you naturally exit. Sometimes the PS3 or Server or what ever hangs up on a froozen page. You can wait hours and days till you have no option but to manually force the PS3 off.

When you log back in or try...You will see the Game Data Save clearly states Corrupt File.

This is where you overide it with the saved gave via USB stick and or you pay extra money to PS3 Servers for them to store the info.

Before you are to mind set on one track, may want to ask if your path is correct first....in this case, you are going the wrong way about the USB save.

That is a good idea, but someone will have to explain the USB trick to me.

That's right, let everyone else take all the risks.

Priceless.

Carry On, Son.:sly:

 I'm just...

Don't suppose you read my two replies?

Oh, I read them alright. Just letting you carry on as you will. Best of Luck, too. Just 'cause I don't agree with the way you operate, doesn't mean I dislike you or anything.

One thing that I have learned in my years, is that people are going to act the way they want, usually regardless.

^don't worry, I don't dislike you either. :)

I was just laughing at what Mr SWERV_GRIFFIN said. 👍

I did read your response(I think?). If you are referring to needing the instructions?👍 To be 100% honest mate, I'm terrible with computers.:ouch: I still have not figured out how to attach a link.:dunce: Normally I tell people to search "duping". That's what I did, and how I learned.👍 Truth is it's really easy but you need a USB stick.

It will not risk your game data in any way. PD made it a available feature in game for a reason. Don't worry about that.👍

The USB save, which I use quite frequently (this is what allows us to send all the cars we want without them ever leaving our garage) is quite simple. There's plenty of threads on here on how to do it, but I have some spare time.

1. own a USB thumbdrive, insert into PS3
2. Drink whiskey. If there is no whiskey, eat some bacon.
3. Go to 'Saved Utility Data'
4. Find your GT5 data by scrolling through
5. Once on the GT5 icon, press triangle to copy
6. Repeat step 2
7. Your system will ask you where you want the save to be copied to, select the USB thumbdrive you have inserted from step 1
8. When prompted, select 'yes' Keep in mind, for the first time it will only ask you once, since it will be the first save on the USB. From then on out, it will prompt you twice as a failsafe, but if you want to save the current data, then enter 'yes' both times. Once it's copied to your thumbdrive, congratulations, you now have a back-up of your current game save.

To do the reload, Make sure you have your game save and USB drive plugged in. With GT5 running,

1. Send item you desire to it's recipient.
2. Wait for the game to finish it's 'saving data' cycle. Failure to do this may cause your PS3 to crash
3. Go to 'Saved Utility Data' again.
4. This time, scroll to your USB drive and hit 'X'
5. Scroll to your GT5 save data, and hit triangle to copy
6. When prompted, select 'yes'. This will be asked twice.
7. When copy is complete, congratulations, you have successfully reloaded your old game save (the one that still has the items you sent to your pal) back into GT5.

It may seem scary at first, but it is completely safe. I may suggest trying this with paint chips, or gear or MC's at first, just until you get the hang of things.

So save, enter GT5, send item, exit, reload. When you go back into GT5, the item you sent will be in it's proper spot 👍

One thing to be cautious of is other people sending you gifts. If you receive a gift, and send an item, then reload, your new gift will be lost to cyberspace forever. I suggest accepting gifts ONLY when you are about to save a new game data. Once the new data is saved, you can then send and reload as you normally would.

Cheers.

Oh, and NO mate I don't take you for a criminal at all.. Sorry if you got that impression.:guilty::ouch:

I take you for a new guy who is still learning the ropes.👍

I was trying to edit and somehow?? See how terrible I am with these cotton picking' things.

Just wanted to point out how many great people are here trying to help.:bowdown:

I can't hardly believe that I forgot the part about Bacon and/or Whiskey.

BTW, Tree'd by Rayzah when I was editing my document to post it.....:)

Thanks you his will do the trick, once Rayzah sends me the vspecII of course 👍

Perfect. So, now knowing what we know, shall I contact the other member from my prior script about you sending the V*Spec II to him once you have received it? It's really no big deal if you can't, I can send to him it if needed. Just figured kill two birds with one stone type of deal. If you want to practice with paints first, feel free to send them to me, I'll send them right back to you, thus doubling your current inventory. Worst case you did it wrong, but still get your paints back. Best case, you did it proper and have joined the club of duping.
👍

:D I feel either, if not both, are crucial parts to the enjoyment of anything worthwhile in life

@rayzah, ok I will practice with gold and silver chromes to you first and if I get the hang of it, you may contact your friend about the vspecII, but just one question, won't it come up with 'you are trying to access someone else's game save'?
By the way I'm only 14, so I guess it'll have to be bacon :sly:

Negative, since the only data you are accessing is your own. This ONLY works with one account however.
Example:
PSN MANDSILVER9 has a game save on the USB
Your alternate account PSN MANDSILVERXXX tries to access that game save, it will corrupt the save entirely. So one USB per account, if you have multiples, that is.

If you were my son, I'd let you have a splash of some good scotch. Of course, only whilst duping, never while driving :sly:

^thanks dude, - wonder what scotch tastes like...
Anyways I can do the USB trick with you in 2hours or so, is that ok?

MANDSILVER9 all booze taste like turd(in my opinion). Of course after a few drinks nobody notices.

I was gonna send you some paints. What would you like chromes?

!!!! LMAO! You all crazy!

Stay away from Cigerattes! Worst thing ever...Kicking the drinks is easier (sip).
