I don't think I have rage quit from a GTP event in over a year. Well it happened.
For one, total confusion and lack of organisation. Spec checks rendered useless by leaving the GTR until last. In practise, as mentioned above. Text chat spam everywhere. Made worse by drivers tyoing whilst in middle of the road. Taking a V8 Supercar out in middle of a session. Starting crazy late. Why no back up organiser? And this is of no insult to Gedi either, he did a good thing offering to host.
Normally I would not say these things in public, but when spamming about Pokemon is acceptable in a lobby and this topic half the time, then maybe something about the racing can be posted here. Chuck cheated on his Q lap. At the last corner he spun the car around, drove it wrong way and used run off to get a better run down the straight. And before anyone starts flaming, Carbonox saw it as well.
In the race. Shocking. No regard for people's position. I apologise to the silver SLS I hit early on, I let him back by, that was my error. Driverman in the Nissan GTR though was awful. Blocking, driving into people, turning into them. All in all, I was actually happy when I outbraked myself and spun off. I'm formally expecting penalties for Driverman and Chuck. I'm considering if this is worth it, I don't want to stay anymore, but I might just do for Carbonox sake.
And also, i'll agree with the PSN message I received from several people pre race about the whole set up being a joke. Sorry Resh, but I thought you would have done this better by now with a whole experience of a season already (that wasn;t pretty at times either).
