We'll make a test round.
Everyone should get their 5 machines ready and we'll start the test round at the normal GRC start time, how bout it guys?
Yuuurp please. I'm using my budget ATM.
I WONT BE AVAILABLE TOMORROW!!!!
I'm not available today :\. Unless we do it next week. Where all the specs are done? Unless Olly, or Chucke want to host it.
I think it's wise to wait until the specs are done and the drivers are ready before we start our racing series...
We're doing a non-championship testy thing in place of it, agreed?
Sorry for a double post, but are we sticking a practice round together tonight or not?
I can test tonight.
Say in about 30 mins - 1 hour?
At GRC time.
That's in uno houro.
My Scirocco is ready.
Guess what it looks like.
Not brown and lacking punctuation.
Room is open, PP and drivetrains are free until 30 mins before race start.
Right, so we only qualify for the FWDs - they designate our position and cars next round right?
- - - - - - - - - -
Well the FWDs are certainly up to scratch, apart from the Scirocco which was three seconds ahead of all the other cars in the race. Shame Walrus disconnected, would have been good to have some more cars.
This new format is awful.
Why 5 different classes when we were fine the way we used to be?
@TheKitten, he's speaking on behalf of everyone here.
We've all agreed that for an average grid of 6-8 cars, 5 classes (with 3 being very similar, 2 of them like no RX class in existence) is just ridiculous.
All we need is 2L, Supercars and Group B. Simple, realistic, fun.
Also why five different classes that split the whole group apart when theres only like 6 of us racing all at once the begin with, is kind of stupid.
The FF's weren't even close. (At least I didn't think they were)
The Scirocco's were horrendously overpowered.
The point is this new setup is stupid, and we want the old setup back.
The reason the FWD cars aren't even?
Well, the speccing isn't completed yet! That'll change soon though, so just wait and chill out a little. It says in the OP that the specs are a work in progress for a reason...
That isn't the point. The point is that 5 classes, with several being nothing like real RX classes, and a hugely complex setup far removed from real RX racing, does not work when we're getting average grids of 6 cars.
Speccing isn't what we want in this. We just want good racing, and a mid season change that's frankly a botched job (not to mention throwing the schedule way off) isn't giving us a close, fun, simple series that RX should produce.
Withdrawing for the time being.
