Gltich Turismo

If someone finds a opening in the track that can be broken through, then essentially it's not a glitch. Glitches are more like sudden things that slow down and/or stop gameplay periodically.

I prefer the term "bug" or even "issue", but whatever.

I agree actually, but it seems the GT community has latched onto calling these events "glitches". So while GT5 doesn't have many glitches per se, there are myriad bugs/issues etc.

Seriously, has anyone played a game with so many glitches?

Yes. All games have glitches; some just more than others, and some more obvious than others.

This game actually trumps the Polyphony coding effort - you actually have to pass through all sectors to complete a lap.

Well this game should teach PD what to do with "sectors".

A better question is have you ever played a game with fewer glitches?

As each "patch" arrives, a new glitch is found as a replacement. Now I know nothing of programming games, but allowing cars to finish races without even driving round the track seems, I don't know, an amateurish mistake ?

I think the title means Glitch Turismo, Glitch not Gltich.

Midtown Madness was so awesome. It was all about the Minis and Mustangs for me, haha.

Free roam was cool. I couldn't remember if it was the 1st or 2nd(or both) I couldn't be stopped on the road without the traffic hitting me, without attempting to even stop :yuck:

GT5 is by far one of the least glitchy games I've played.

I have not noticed many bugs or what ever you want to call them with GT5. I must have been too busy driving cars around tracks and not smashing them to walls to find short cuts etc.

Mercenaries 2.
Hands down the buggiest game I've ever heard of.

GT5 is not bad for glitches at all.
Fallout NV is what I consider the worst, its got to a stage where the bugs and glitches cannot be fixed. All that GT5 has is a recurring problem which one day will be fixed entirely.

Sonic the Hedgehog ( the first one on ps3). Who knows how many glitches that had, as you couldn't physically play it long enough to find out.

Don't people understand that glitches are part of everything we do as humans. Think about it, we all try to find some way around the system( the system being rules and guidelines for our way of living ). We make it a living organism or thing and always try to bend, break, trick, find a way around them. Taxes, healthcare, jobs, government, restaurants, video games = claim more fictitiously , welfare , unemployment, well they are crooked so it's ok, free food, and cheats which has always been part of video games. Nothing new. Latest nail driven, medicinal marijuana...... Please. Anything that helps you escape reality is a godsend. The medicinal part is the cheat.

Btw. Did you think ^^vv<><>abba(select, start) was a glitch?

I was playing B-Spec mode in GT5 on the Top Gear Track and had McLaren F1. Well, I had an insane lead on the other cars and in the middle of the track there is a section where the roads crisscross. It just so happens that my AI driver can't see things to the side of him and ended up getting plowed clear off the track.

But the worst part is the game thought I already drove around the track properly and proceeded to drive in the wrong direction! Thus ruining the race.

I know patches are great now and then, but I mainly see them as an excuse for PD to do crummy programming.
