It obviously got larger - but how about the fuel economy? It has to cope with the $3+/gallon fuel prices.

With the given engines in the vheicle, I'd expect the mileage to be about the same (if not slightly better) than the current AFM/E85 Vortec 5300-powered Tahoes and Yukons, and the new AFM/E85 Vortec 6000 (L79)-powered Avalance and Suburbans.

The new L79 has not yet been offically rated in the trucks here in the US, but I can give you the specs on the Vortec 6000, which is currently rated at 15/21 MPG, a mild step up from the previous Tahoes.
 
Wonder if they'll make any tweaks to the Duramax and/or the Allison 6-speed, even though the current package is already a freakin' monster that could probably still get close to 20 mpg if you really granny it...
