Use the vid there. Obviously improvise your own stuff too. I just got gold on Nurburgring with a DS3. The first lap was a 1.04.5 type affair the second was my fastest lap ever despite a mistake on the final lap an the last corner where I allowed Vettel to overtake me.
I use a DS3, have golded everything except the Vettel challenges and have all other trophies. If I gold these (assuming I get some time without the kids) I'll get gold and platinum trophies too. However, I'm dreading doing these, I derive absolutely no pleasure from driving this car.

It's a fun car once you know how to take corners fast in it... Just learn to drive the car rather than trying to beat the challenge I guarantee you eventually get it that way...you can whip that car around corners like you wouldn't believe..I use a ds3 also so keep practicing
Once I'm done with the endurance races I'll just have the Vettel Challenge to gold, though I'm not sure I'll be bothered to try and do it, I'd rather not end up with a hole on my flat screen in the shape of a controller...
As far as cheating goes I think it cancels out with the fact that players without steering wheels have a MUCH more difficult time with getting the trophy. Licenses, fine, they actually teach you to race properly, but learning to drive some imaginary car to get the Platinum? Yeah, don't think so...
Same for the 24 Hours of Nurburgring which could also be glitched, if KY and his team want to make it a fantasy race by fielding it with LMPs (some that don't even have headlights ) I can't be bothered to race it in overpowered cars for the sake of keeping up.
