Gold chrome in daily paint from PD

I've had this game since release date and I have never received a chrome paint chip, what gives? Lately, I've been checking every day because I'm assuming it's only a matter of time, but still no luck. I play nearly every day too. At least I was lucky enough to get a couple matte chips.
 
I think you get chrome or matte for every 30 cars. I have 1550 paints and I don't remember getting any special paint from daily bonus.

If you still don't have gold chrome, silver chrome, or matte paint send me a PM with your request. I have an Obama paint chip plan going on. Check my trading thread in my sig.
 
@NoonenF1 - But you do know you have a chance of getting chrome for every 30 new cars? Just buy some cheap rides until you're offered a paint-chip and a new horn. If you don't like the paint, don't push OK, just switch your PS off and try again until you get your desired color. I got my gold-chrome after 6 or 7 attempts yesterday - GOOD LUCK :)
 
thats very generous of you, the good news is I only asked the question to see if folks are wasting time cycling their machine on/off to get it because you get it in the bonus BUT you dont get it, it seems
anyway, I think gold chrome is ugly and dont care to own it.. now the color shift are impressive and while I might never used them being addicted to white cars, but will probalby collect them anyway[/B]

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that may be a Lotus Color.

I'm pretty sure my 1st Gen Elise is that color as well as my older Esprit V8 GT.

just got the "silver chrome" paint for 660 cars in my garage... woulndnt count on it though...seems pretty random..... what's the best car to put that colour on? hmmmm....

Got a silver chrome for having 810 cars in garage.Seems very random.
Still not got a gold chrome yet. Sure 1 will turn up sooner or later.

Just to clear up you don't need to switch off your PS3.... just quit the game and re-start the disc.... should get you what you want eventually. 👍
 
@CCShaft7 - Thanks mate, that's quicker, I suppose. I used to jump on the power-button when the word "matte" appeared
 
I never got a chrome paint in the random daily paints, but I did get the "matte brown" paint purely on a random day.

This was not when I had a multiple of 30 cars, really random. Considering these really only normally show up at multiples of 30, and I got one randomly, I'm sure it's theoretically possible to get a chrome paint randomly, but it will be quite rare.

He means randomly. In increments of 30 (ex. 30, 60, 90, 120, etc.) cars in your garage you'll get a random rare paint color, which range from Silver Chrome, Gold Chrome, and one the Matte colors.
 
@diabolical - Go buy the 15 cheapest rides avalable, just to get to 180. You will then be offered a horn and a chip. It's mostly matte paint, if you like it, keep it, if not, turn your PS3 off and try again. Repeat this until chrome appears
 
I got "passionate pink" yesterday from the dailies. I think that's about the rarest color I've gotten from dailies.

I'm also addicted to white cars ( in real life too ) I like to paint my tuned cars white add a black carbon hood, black wing and make the rims some bright color...sure they look like toys...but it's my game!

I put it on the Shelby Cobra because there is a chrome Shelby Cobra in existance at Shelby headquarters.
