Golding IB-2 license

Ive been trying for so long to gold this F'er, its getting to be regoddamndiculous.

comeon now! you can't get a circle test out of the way? you're really going to struggle through IA then.

I'll help you... start off in 3rd gear and just floor it, get over to the middle and stay as close inside as you can the whole time. Keep it around 70 mph the whole time too. That should help you out a bit, if it doesn't let me know.

I'm working on S6 right now and the Viper is being a punk. I'll get it eventually though.

Like our drifting friend said, launch in 2nd or 3rd gear. Hold tight to the inside, just OFF the rumble strip. Keep full lock on the steering, and steer with the throttle - if you go wide, back off slightly, and any time you're not going wide, add a little power until you do. When you see the end of the last lap coming up, get on the gas and don't worry if the car edges out.

I was actually having a different technique. I started in 1st gear (I never started in anything else than 1st gear) but I was trying to have the front inside wheel (that is the right hand one) ON the rumble strip at all times because of the grip difference. While on the strip, this wheel has less grip than all three others and one effect of this is that the car is naturally dragged to the inside of the track. It enables higher speeds than when all 4 wheels are on the tarmac. The tricky thing is that you shouldn't touch the cones and they sometimes get really close.
Ok, I stopped practising when I made a 1'01:574 but that was enough, right ?

Btw, this is my 2nd time around for GT3. I got 100% about 2 months ago, and this time, Im not settling for Bronze/Silver on the licenses! I honestly think you should have to Gold the licenses to register 100%, but, I digress.

Ive have been running in 3rd throughout and trying to hug the rumble strip, as you guys mentioned. I dont know, Ive already golded IA, Rally & S. wtf...

I've golded A, IB and all but one IA and all but one Rally. Got 3 Golds in S, the rest silver.

But I cant do B-8, the Skyline on Trial mountain. I swear some of the earlier tests are much harder than the later ones

Well, I must have had a bad night, because I came home yesterday and got IB-2 first shot. Now, all I have left is IB-8(NSX Zero at Apricot Hill) Im off on that one by . 02. Here I go again...

You know what? Getting Golds on the licenses, over just settling for Bronze or Silver my first time around, doesnt give me that warm fuzzy feeling I thought I would get. I feel like I wasted time just getting the inevitable... I could have been watching porn or something.
