So you have probably been able to play quite a bit this winter out in Omaha. I do some business in the Lincoln/Beatrice area, and it has been incredibly warm every time I've been there this winter. Must be nice!
Yes, its been a very mild winter. I'm asst. pro at O.C.C. and we've only been closed about a dozen days this winter because of snow. Very nice. I've played probably about 10 times so far this year. Any rounds this time of year are bonus, so its a nice start. My game is very sharp for Feb, so I can't complain. VERY nice today. Mid 60s and calm, great weather.

Kind of off-topic, I guess, but, I can't believe Michelle Wie is like 15 or something.
She turned 16 a couple months ago, but yea, I know what you mean. She's been in the golf spotlight for so long, you would think she is at least 20 now. I really like her game though. No bashing her from me. If she is that good now, I can only imagine what she'll be like in 5-10yrs.

She does have that kind of "Sergio" feel about her though. He is only about 25 or 26. But, he's been playing on tour for 6-7 years, so it just feels like he should be much older. If only he could putt, he would have a good number more wins. Perfect example of how rolling the rock is where you win. Everyone can hit the ball a mile, but making putts is how you score.

I wish I could play, but I never got the chance to. The nearest good golf course is about twenty miles away and we never have the time to get in a full round of golf. When we do get the chance though, I do think I'm pretty good for a beginner, but I need to work on my putting and short game.

Used to play at least once a week as I have 8 different courses within a twenty minute drive from my house. My handicap was down to 8 at one point but I'm ashamed to say I've not even been to the range in the past year, two children and increasing work commitments mean a couple of hours time out are not really an option lately. :( I'll have to get the kids into golf, some of my local courses actually do lessons for kids now.

Still have the clubs in the garage, nothing special, just some relatively cheap ones I bought as a set, can't even remember what make they are now? I do have what looks like a putter but it has a 45 degree face, great for knockin 'em on from the fringe.

I'll have to dust 'em off and see how I get on. 👍

I play golf now and then, infact im going on Wednesday.

It's weird though. I'm a right-handed golfer, but a left-handed batter in cricket and baseball :indiff: (when i playthat is, baseball isn't huge down here in the Great Southern Land)
