Crazy. its worked now.
our clocks in the UK have moved an hour forward so it was 12:45.
PD's clocks must not adjust for this.

Why would they adjust? The trade reset is at midnight GMT. You aren't on GMT now. You're an hour ahead of it.

FYI, the clocks here in the UK go forward one hour in the summer and back an hour in the winter. We are the only country to do this apparently.

At 12am, I was given my 10 paints and museum cards but I could not trade items until 1am.

I really tire of the Americans on this site using eye rolling comments like "some people".

The UK isnt on GMT at the moment as we are on daylight savings meaning we are an hour ahead GMT as GMT never changes.
I really tire of fellow Englishmen not fully understanding what is being told to them and thinking that they are correct.

You get your daily gifts as the clock in game moves onto a new day 0.00 (UK) The reset for gift sending is and always will be 0.00 GMT which is 1.00 (UK) since the clocks moved forward. They are 2 seperate things now at seperate times due to us changing the clocks. Hope that clears it up a bit for you

Most places in the States do the same thing. Ours switched a couple weeks ago and there were plenty of posts asking the same thing as the OP. I'm going to follow your advice and not comment on the rest.

Cards/paints come in at midnight local time of the PS3 while trading is reset at 0000 GMT. Not sure why but that's what they did.
