Good PC Games

I can get some very cheap game deals on the latest releases on PC by May. If there are any games coming out before then or now that you reckon i should get, please inform me here. I am a VERY big fan of racing games and this is my list so far:
-NFS: HP 2
-Madden 2003
-Fifa 2003
-UT 2003
-Sim City 4
-Rollercoaster Tycoon 2
-Worms Armageddon
-Age of Mythology
-Rallisport Challenge
-F1 2002

MAYBE (Not sure if out yet):
-Halo
-CMR 3.0
-GTA: VC

-UT 2003 - Excellent, especially with the new map pack and all the patches. It runs 10x better than when it was released now, with all the effects on full.

-Age of Mythology - One of the best RTS games, both single and multiplayer. Much more charm than most of the others running around, plus a great variety in units (unlike other RTS games)
-Rallisport Challenge Excellent Rally Game, controls a bit better on the xbox though. (But runs better if you have a fast PC.)
-F1 2002 - EA is to F1 as Jordan was to Baseball. (They can do it, just not very well.)

MAYBE (Not sure if out yet):
-Halo -Heck yeah!
-CMR 3.0 - We'll see.
-GTA: VC - Only if you missed it on the Ps2.

If you are not a Command & Conquer fan i would try and push you to get the new C&C Generals. That game alone will suck you in and make you a fan. ;) Its a great game.
 
I have Command and Conquer...one of them, but i haven't really played it. So what kind of game is C & C Generals?

i wasjust thinking and i have all of thse games[a few i d/l'ed though]
 
But i think if i get UT 2003 that would eliminate the need for UT II?
 
Unreal 2: The Awakening is totally different to Unreal Tournament and Unreal Tournament 2003. The Unreal Tournament series is like an arcade kind of game, where you pick your person and then go and kill people. Unreal is actually a role-playe game. A role-play game is like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City where you play as Tommy and do missions. That is what Unreal is about.

Get Mafia. Think of it as Grand Theft Auto only set in the 1930s with Tommy guns, etc.
 
I've played Unreal GOTY edition. I don't really like Mafia that much, either.
 
I've decided to add Unreal II and C & C Generals to my list so far. Come on people, keep the suggestions coming ;)
 
dude Worms Armageddon is the best and i hear alot of good things from age of mythology.Some really really good games i played that you might like are half-life, fallout 1&2, & Final Fantasy 7
 
Final Fantasy isn't on computer is it?
 
I think Red Faction 2 is out on PC. What do you do in that?
 
Red Faction 2 doesn't come out until next month on the PC.

Skip Unreal 2, it's not worth the purchase Price. It's entertaining enough but only for about 10 hours (or less) and there is zero replay value.

And Final Fantasy 7 and 8 are on the PC.
 
OK, so you recommend Final Fantasy VII too?

Hmm, but i think one of my friends has it for pc...or it could be red alert 2...i confuse the two often.

Well, blow up stuff. You can blow the **** out of walls! It has the most wicked graphics - probably rivals Unreal Tournament 2003. If you want a challenge this game is for you - that is, if you use cheats or not to complete it. This game is hard, but for every difficultly level, you unlock extra bonus stuff. There are also multiplayer modes and such.

Damn, I want to go play Red Faction II now.

well..... it's kind of an old game and was never really supported all that well. (although I had a 3dfx card way back then which was slowly dying.) If you can find it, and for 10-20 dollars it's worth a go. It's one of the best RPG's around, but there is so much newer to play.
Here's my list of gaming suggestions:
Unreal 2003 for online mayhem.
Neverwinter Nights for RPG needs (long game, and has hundreds of great user created modules, and thousands of crappy ones. ;))
Rallisport challenge or Nascar 2003 (papyrus) for racing.
And either age of Mythology or Warcraft 3 for RTS gaming.

When you say Unreal 2003, it is the tournament one isn't it? *Will add NN to the list*
 
Yeah, UT2003 is the sequel to Unreal Tournament. It doesn't really have a story, but the single player mode will last longer than Unreal 2.
One of it's coolest features is that it streams new maps, and loads them as they download when you join a game with content you don't already have (this also depends on your connection speed.)
It lacks assault mode, but I hear that is coming in the update this month.

yea in 1998 squaresoft published a pc version of ff7, also there are pc versions of ff8-10.
The pc ver of ff7 is better than the PS ver becuase the game is quicker and the sound quality it 250 time better.
 
since when is there pc version of 9&10 on pc?
i have subscriptions to egm,pcworld, computer gaming world and varios other mags and none say 9 and 10 are on pc
 
If you have an emulator i think you can play it.
 
There is no FF9 or 10 on the PC. Maybe with an emulator you can play 9, but none of the PS1 emulators were all that great IMO.
FF 11 (MMORPG) is probably going to be on the PC though.
