Good sounding V8 for TS020 GT-ONE and more?

Eks
I just thought of one : How about Ford Mark IV for C9? If anyone does it, I'd like to see a video of it to check out the result. 👍

I heard the 1967 MK IV GT40 a few hours ago an I think it sounds like the 1969 GT40. I'm going to listen to the real sound of the C9 and see if it fits.

I'll engine swap later today since it's late.

Cheaters are cheaters, and will do what cheaters do.

If they are your friends and they are cheaters I will call them cheaters.

I don't care really whose friends they are - if they were my friends and were cheating, I would unfriend them and call them cheaters.

Back when the glitching thing was big I saw several friends in the nurburgring24 rooms cheating. At the same time I was busting my ass making money to keep my online gaming going.

I unfriended them all.

Sometimes you have to take a stand.

I have earned every credit I have made in GT5 within the rules of the game. Is it to much to ask that of everyone else?

gtplanet will have to ban me to shut me up. I will never change my opinion on these cheaters or their cheating cars and I hope to God that they suffer mighty sanctions for doing what they are doing.

Sony, PD, Please ban them all!

There is a mighty big difference between people who put 4k BHP into a Mitsubishi Evolution and then glitch it so it only has 550PP to destroy people in online races and people like my friends whom I hold dear that do it for fun, painting cars like the Re Am RX7 Yellow to make it look nicer, or making the premium R32 RWD so they don't have to use the standard GT-S.

The people doing things that should have been in the game like removing wings, drive train swaps and realistic engine swaps I have a great deal of respect for.

I don't however hold respect for people who are cheating to win online races. Simples.

Also, I'll clarify; I don't care if you call them cheaters (even though they're plainly not). I care that you call them bad people and claim that I need better friends. That's what I have a problem with.

They're messing with the game in a harmless way centred around having some fun with a game they were otherwise losing interest in. They aren't harming you, they've never harmed you and I very much doubt they ever will.

Calm down, have a beer or your preferred cool beverage and realise that like anything it's a grey area. It's how you choose to paint it that makes the difference.

I made all my credits in GT5 legit and no hacks, but this has to be the most narrow-minded post that is speaking of someone else's friends (that incidentally you dont even know) in derogatory terms I have ever seen. Get back on topic or get lost.

On topic, I think a V8 from a racing Corvette might be pretty good.

Whatever. The fact remains that this is a hybriding thread and needs to be moved.

The mods have not felt the need to move it thus it is fine.

Would it be possible to use a sound from an older GT game? I wonder how the Panoz from GT3 would sound/be like on the C9 ..

The TS020 and C9 have very different sounds, so I wouldn't put the same engine in them both if you want to be realistic.

What I would do:
C9 - ZR1/Camaro SS RM, Mercedes C63 AMG, or Mercedes CLK55 AMG.
TS020 - Nissan GT-R R35 GT500 or Nissan R390 Road Car

One of the Lancia rally cars has an engine sound that has a very very close-to-the-real-thing sound of the GT-One... I think it's the Delta...

But the problem is: Once you swap it, you'll have a 300hp GT-One... And I think that if you multiply its power to get to the real figures of the GT-One, you might lose the engine sound...

But... In real life, the GT-One has 600hp... maybe with minor modifications, and the correct multiplier... who knows? ... :sly:

Yes since you're claiming the only right way to play it yours.

You'd also probably get more support if you only accused cheaters of cheating rather than anyone who disagreed with you.

As for changing the engine sound, you might want to consider powerbands along with total hp. I wouldn't do this just because I'd prefer to keep the character of the engine rather than get the sound right.

The only thing that needs to be moved is you, out of this thread. You've already stated your disagreement, to continue repeating yourself is trolling.

If you don't think the thread is appropriate, report it and get on with your life.

Great suggestions :D 👍

The only problem is that I don't know the engine code for the RM cars yet.

P.S: Please no one discuss the engine codes here.

EDIT: I need a V8 with a turbo to go into the Sabuer C9. It can't be supercharged or N/A. I swapped an Impala NASCAR V8 into the C9 and it kept the old C9 sound, but lowered the engine sound and the transmission was louder.

I really hope you use the falcon xr8,its the best sounding modern V8 in the game and the first car I used when I hooked up my surround . the gt40 sounds fantastic but id say its suited to more of a muscle car or old American race car. C9 is my favorite race car btw id love to see a video of this when its completed.

I successfully put the Ford Falcon XR8 V8 into the Sauber C9.

I now need to put a V8 into the TS020.

You think if you steal my bicycle/car/motorcycle and use it to deliver food to poor little old ladies you won't go to jail because you didn't steal it and abuse it? đź’ˇ Nobody cares what you do with something when you steal it, the crime is stealing it, regardless of your intentions with it.

I urge you to go back and re-read what I've said. That isn't what I'm getting at at all.

Yes, it's still breaking the EULA.
However my point was there's a difference between people who are cheating (People using it to gain an upper hand in online/offline races) and people who are 'modding' we'll call it. (People who are doing things that should really be in the game to start with, engine swaps that make sense, reasonable power upgrades, drive train conversions etc as I said)

If punishment is delivered, sure they'll get thrown into the same pot because how can PD distinguish without going through each and every save and with an arbitrary morality bar figure out how acceptable the changes were (Even if they had access to the save files, they'd have to really hate the intern they peg with that job.

My point is, as it stands I don't think people who do it for their own enjoyment to no harm of others and those who do it to ruin other peoples enjoyment shouldn't be in the same camp morally 👍

If you disagree even with that explanation, I won't be pressing it further. I just wanted you to understand what I was getting at.
