I've been racing on the Nur track the past few months with the same group of guys. I think his screen was '....phsycho'...forgot the full screenname.

But anyway, I joined his game one time last week. During the first race after I joined at the last straight before the finish line, I nudged him to the wall as he was about to passed me. It was totally 100% intentional but it was my way of saying 'hello'. Even after I apologized and explained that I was just messing around and really was saying hello because I've not seen online for a few weeks, he was so pissed and booted me.

My question is did I crossed the line?

Personally, it's just a game. There is so much crap that one has to deal with in daily life in which this can't even compare but some people get so emotionally worked up over a stupid, inconsequential game.

Get a life! It's only a game. :) 💡

Get a life and don't nudge people into the wall 💡

Say hello instead of causing on track drama, I'm on his side in this case.

It was just a joke. Keep in mind I apologized afterwards. He and I know that he's faster than I am. I've never beaten him before so he shouldn't feel so threatened.

You have almost 4000 posts! I get it. You take this game very seriously. got it.

No...but I do understand that being forced into a wall in a race is complete and utter BS when 1) it's 100% intentional and 2) cost him the position he was in.

Yes it's a game and you may have said sorry but do you know him personally or just online? If it's just online and you haven't seen him for a while then you're unlikely to see him again....

And what does my post count matter?

You nudged a guy into the wall near the end of the lap as he was about to pass you to say hello? I got a good laugh out of this, seriously.

You seem to be getting worked up about it. It’s only a game so let it go and just accept it for what it is… his way of saying “goodbye” :D

Joke or not its hard to interpretate that by a nudge, apologising after is fine but you have allready upset the person. So in my view he was right to kick you. The dialogue box is for comunicating try using that to the fullest.

LMAO saying hello with a nudge of the car..ha ha i have heard everything now

If he was on a hot lap and on a good time then i can understand he was angry at you.

sorry but i reckon it was your fault and next time just type hello or howdy..or hi any will do ;)

You already know the answer to your question.

You got kicked because you crossed the line.

If you raced with someone for months, then you should know him better than we do.

I joined a room today after ages finding rooms with just chat. I chose it because there were a few GTP_ tags in there and though I'd have some fun with decent drivers. I got on the track for around a minute before I was kicked for no reason!

I know why.

You were drunk.

Dude…just cuz you're friends with the guy doesn't mean basic manners take a back seat. I have a friend that I only ever race when he's back from Uni, we treat each other like brothers. But I've yet to decide that the best way to greet him was to smash him straight off the track. In fact, it's quite the opposite. I say hi to him by trying my hardest to give him a close race from the 1st race. The result? 0.1 second difference between us and a even closer gap in our friendship.

It's just a game, get a life. Re-learn the basics of communication, you'll answer your question yourself soon enough.

Did you cross the line? Yes. Very much so.

wrecking someone on purpose, especially when its obvious it's on purpose, especially on the nurb track, and especially at the end of the nurb track, will make anyone angry enough to boot you. That's a long, hard track. If I raced you clean the whole time, and you win at the very end by pinching me into a wall, yea i wouldn't want to race with you again either. I bet the guy had plenty of chances you make you wipe out but choose not to. Put yourself in his shoes man, how would you feel. I don't blame him either.

I say my hellos during practice / free run (by hello I mean putting my friends into a wall in the most violent way possible). When the race starts, race clean and try to win.

Its only a game some people take this to seriously I would of nudged him also so I can win the race lol

Yea because you are on of those cheap little kids. You shouldn't take pride in being a cheater.

Seriously. I'm on the other guy's side. I wouldn't like it too. Have you ever heard of good manners? :grumpy:

You were in the wrong. Thats no way to say hello, it gives a completely different message. I would have booted you straight away.
Nice videos above 👍

If its only a game why are you so desperate to win a race that you'll take out your own friends by putting them in the wall? Honestly, it says something about the kind of person you are, the lengths you are willing to go to get any advantage over someone else.

Thanks for listing your psn though, I'll add it to my block list later.
