chuckm1030would i have enough money to buy a stock m3 csl, from the imported money and the money i start out with.
akakEveryone with gt4, flood this thread with gt4 info even if it seems pointless i wanna know everything!
no, you then have to save at your garage and only your garage.(G)With autosave off, does it ask you to save, like with amar212's copy?
dont know about the muffler but i heard my stock turbo screaming at the top of its lungs pushing my car to try and catch up to everybody else.akakOk how are the engine and tyre noises in gt4, and does buying a racing muffler for eg make a diffrence too the sound in a good way? can you hear the turbos wind up?? waste gates etc etc
Lownslow427dont know about the muffler but i heard my stock turbo screaming at the top of its lungs pushing my car to try and catch up to everybody else.
semertonDoes anyone understand why the power outputs given at the beginning of the replay are different to those given everywhere else? I can only guess that it's power output at the wheels vs at the flywheel, but it seems stupid to list this only at the beginning of each replay...
Also is there a way to see the performance level of competing cars? I would prefer to race cars that are not overly powerful in comparison - I know that the A-Spec points give some indication, but what is a good level of points? My current races are around 70 points...
Something else I noticed was when tuning an Integra R, the redline seemed to shift (or at least the tacho now goes to 10,000). Does anyone have a reason for this? The limiter is still at 9,000 though.
Sorry to cram three points into one (relatively unrelated) thread...
If anyone has input on these points it would be a great help. Thanks.
i agree with you i love being broke in the beginning sometimes ill start the game over just to do it againakakI think im going too delete my gt3 save i dont want a head start in the game, in the beginning, when you dont have much money is the best part of the game, the races are much more a challenging
9000RPMTo see what you are up against there is a watch race button but it'll cost you 1 day in GT4.
Did you NA tune the ITR?
kFMkIII see all those cars except the Chaps, but only because I didn't know where to look...
semertonIs the watch race the same as the preview? - I've done that but it only shows the power output of one car... It just seems wierd that it's kind of hidden.
Yeah, stage 2 NA with a port polish.
I attached two photos from Motegi - check out the adjustable camber![]()
birkmeyer03Did you find the Chaps yet or are they a negative? If you can't buy them at the dealer there is still a chance that they are exclusive as prize cars, similar to some in GT3.
Syxx_KillerHi. I asked this in Amar's thread on the PAL version, but I would like to know a couple things about the NTSC version. Again, is the Ford SVT Ligthning FR in the game? Also, is the '05 Mustang FR? If you completed the license tests, how long does it take? Thanks.![]()
9000RPMThat is the only way to see your opponents though. I don't think AI modify their car much at all.
NA tune will raise the redline.
