Welcome to the 2019 Gr.3 European Sprint Cup.

I have created this "mini series" of 6 rounds after hosting a couple of successful single races here on GTPlanet.

The idea of this Championship is for drivers of all skill levels to be able to come and race together without to many rules and regulations and where there is a fun and relaxed atmosphere with clean and respectful driving.

Everyone is welcome!

All the races are on Friday evenings and start at 20:00 UK time.
The race lobby will always be open at 19:30 with 30minutes available to post a qualifying time.

Each race is around 60miles in distance other than the Le Mans event which is around 85miles.

Visible Damage: On
Mech Damage: Light
Tyre Wear: 4x
Fuel Depletion: 3x
Initial Fuel: Default
Grip Reduction: Real
Race Finish Delay: 180 Seconds
Category: Gr.3
BOP: On
Tyres: Racing Medium Only
Tuning: Prohibited
Ghost: Off
Penalties: Strong
Side Contact Penalty: On
Driving Aids Prohibited: Countersteering Assistance

RULES/REGS:

The only rules and regs I am setting are....

1. You must keep the same car and racing number throughout the season, however I am happy for you to edit/change your livery at any time.

2. If you have to miss a race or two no worries! Just let me know as soon as you can.

3. There will be a pitstop success penalty where the top 3 finishers in the previous race will have to take a time penalty during ONE of their pitstops.

1st - 10 seconds
2nd - 7 seconds
3rd - 5 seconds

This is to make things a bit more exciting and keep a balance between the different skill levels of all drivers.

The way you must implement the added time is to wait out your allocated time penalty before you select the tyre compound during your stop.

THE TIME STARTS WHEN YOUR CAR IS STATIONARY IN PIT BOX.

I will be checking the replay post race to make sure there's no cheating! :dopey:

4. The points system is as follows

1st - 25pts
2nd - 18pts
3rd - 15pts
4th - 12pts
5th - 10pts
6th - 8pts
7th - 6pts
8th - 4pts
9th - 2pts
10th - 1pt

Pole Postition - 1pt
Fastest Lap - 1pt

Ok mate no probs 👍 You don't have to enter all the rounds. I'm sure there will be space at each event if you want to sign up nearer the time.

I've hardly run Catalunya or St. Croix, and I know I'm hopeless at both tracks, so it's a good excuse to try and get better on them.

I'll probably stick to running the Beetle.
And I'll make a new livery for it, probably using Number 68.
But I'll confirm soon.

I've been practising at St. Croix as well. Love the circuit but need lots more laps lol!!
