I just wanted to give you guys a heads up I will be modifying the confirmation rules. the rules were set for season 1 when we didnt have nearly as many drivers as we do now and we will be working on it in the up coming weeks for next season so hopefully it will benefit us all and allow us all to race better while at the same time making @Nick Cannella job alot easier we appreciate everyone for understanding and helping us along the way

I haven't had a chance to check any local hardware stores, only Home Depot. I figured going directly through Thrustmaster themselves would be the easiest since they supply the exact part I need. 2 weeks later and I still have nothing. I've re-ordered it and hope to have it soon.

It's nice to still be able to compete with you guys on a controller, but it really makes me appreciate the wheel. It's not nearly as fun. But the ribbing, close racing and positive atmosphere here make up for it.

At the conclusion of Saturdays race, the points standings will begin to reflect total scores with the "2 drop" rule, to where a drivers 2 lowest scoring weeks will be dropped. There have been enough races completed to effectively implement the rule.

DROP RACE RULE: we will be implementing 2 drop race scores for the season. This will consist of your 2 lowest scores being dropped at the end of the season. In making this change we hope to close some of the points gaps and create a tighter battle in the standings. The only scores not eligible for the drop scores are DNF 0 races, if a driver DNF for a internet, equipment issue or life situation they receive last place points if it is stated in the thread they DNF for reasons out of their control those will still be eligible for drop scores.

You think that’s positive you should sit in on the party chat. Lol. We cuss you up when you are out front. Lol. Jk. It is nice to feel like we are on somewhat of the same playing field but it won’t be long u til you get that controller down pat.

However you on a wheel and out front gives me motivation. My goal weekly is to be on top and when you are driving away o try that much harder to stay in touch.

Wheel or no wheel i go in every week trying my hardest to beat both you and @SAMHAIN85. with @Alltrac185 and @KermitSenpai biting at my heels almost every race i can't make a mistake....Last week at fuji was probably the best one of the best races for ARL the top 4 for most of the race seperated by 4 seconds or less was amazing. Here is to hoping that this week is just as fun. i personally hate the WRX's in this game i can't drive them at all...

Haha. You guys are pure class! Been reading through this thread a few pages at a time and it's completely hilarious at certain points.

I'm new to the Gran Turismo franchise. Got into sim racing a bit late I guess, but I'm 22, so "late" may be laughed at by some. Only ever played GT back on the PS2 way back, but I didn't own it. There's something about GTS that made me take the plunge. Been playing since pretty much launch, using DS4. Got my first wheel and now I really enjoy the game.

Like it told @Nick Cannella during practice recently, I'm really happy there are fast guys here. People I can learn from and motivate me to be better. Even if you're not the fastest, I'm sure you're experienced and just as important to me. First, second, third, last, doesn't matter as long as there's a take-away that's worthwhile.

Really looking forward to racing with you guys and sorry for the rant :lol:
