Call me stupid but where is that car list. I've probably passed it up a hundred times and just haven't noticed.

Both the Mustang & Viper are showing available and since I already have my ARL livery for the Mustang I will take that.
 
Just a quick reminder on qualifying.

2.1 QUALIFYING
Qualifying for Season 4 is going to be a 15 minute open run qualifying session. This is really a simple change and one that came from the survey and im glad to see open qualifying back in ARL.
A. Qualifying will consist of 1 15 minute session
B. Drivers can pit at any point but must remain on the same compound of tire they are starting the race with
  • If i'm starting the race on RH I must qualify with the same tire compound, but can pit for fresh RH at any point in qualifying
C. Obviously we are probably all gonna receive damage at some point pits will also be open for repairs during qualifying.
D. Once you are happy with your lap for qualifying pull off the track and wait for qualifying to end. Please do not bother the drivers still setting laps. If you return to the pits and wait for the race to start your qualifying lap will not be set and you will start from the rear.
F. Once you have entered the track for qualifying you have locked in your tire selection to start the race.
 
I'm going to guess that I don't need a teammate tonight correct?

If I am required to have a teammate then I would assume I'm starting in the Bronze class and I will need to find someone in the silver class?

Just trying to get myself organized for tonight as much as possible because I have not turned one practice lap as of now and I really don't see that changing until its almost race time.

Your good to run solo man, the teams are just an added bonus to race for. Jump in the mock lobby if you get a chance we try to run a mock race 1 hour before the actual race

Just wanted to make note that if someone does deliberately or accidentally exits their race entry during qualifying, they can get their originally posted best time to register by going out on track and past the first sector. Otherwise, you will start last. Best advice, do not exit track or cancel your entry.
 
There are currently 33 drivers signed up to race tonight! If everyone shows, we would split off into 3 lobbies of 11 each. (good thing my Jethro Bodine ciphering skills are top notch).
Lobby assignments and hosts (A-B-C) are pending and will be posted after the confirmation period closes. Stay tuned everyone...it promises to be the BEST season opener yet! From the entire BOD of the ARL, we thank you for your support!

Quick question, can two silver drivers be on a team or do we need at least one bronze driver?

Must have atleast 1 member of a different class.


Teams have now been bumped to allowing 3 drivers per team with the highest 2 being scored in that weeks points.
  • We have abandoned the rule of having 1 bronze and 1 silver but with that being said when getting a team together you must have at least 1 member in a separate class to eliminate super teams (we are not the NBA lol).

*Not intended as a smart ass response lol
