Scoring is currently being calculated on your best results from all 9 races. Stay with me here, because it can be a little confusing:
  • There have been 7 regular season races. The top 5 highest scores go towards championship points.
  • There have been 2 wildcard races. Currently only one (the highest) of the two is being scored in championship points.
  • A total of 6 races are being calculated in the championship points. (as of week 9).
  • There are 13 races this season, 10 regular and 3 wildcard.
  • The top 8 regular races and top 2 wildcard races will be calculated towards championship points. (10 races total scored).
  • DNF's DO NOT qualify for a drop race. That is why it is important to finish the race and score some points (as it may qualify as a lower score) and would be eligible for a drop.
While I am experiencing formatting issues with the Google Sheet, here is the points by week for everyone. Please check through and let me know if anyone sees or notices any inaccuracies.

Great job @Moby45 @fullness and the team of Bulls & Arrows. Well done!

Thanks amigo. I was honestly looking for just a top 5 finish last night as I was out classed for sure. So many good people to race against. Nate and Fullness were whooping my butt and I was only to get ahead of them via pitstops and Nate taking a big detour in the final two turns.

Then fullness got by me and I could never reel him back in.

Yup. I took a trip through the desert on a horse named Sophia at one point and then went backwards through the corkscrew trying to reel you in during the closing laps. You were fast last night for sure. Those last 10 laps the gap remained constant.

The Mazda was really consistent. When the tires started to go it didn't lose too much time. Pretty surprised with it's endurance performance.

How is the ferrari on tires? I like driving it but have only done sprints in it.

I think it’s really good as long as you keep it under control. It wears all four pretty evenly instead of one set or the other. There’s a fine line though, if you let it slide just a few times it’s all over until the next pit stop.

The championship table looks really heated and concise! Calculated my theoretical maximum at 259 points.

Having issues with the Google doc since last week. I think it has Rona
I didn't know you originally used Excel and imported them to Google Sheets, which is rather surprising. Most of the formulas are compatible except for some knacks that occur one way or the other.

Have you tried editing directly on Google Sheets instead? Excel is more for local, offline use and doesn't really fit the cut for Google Sheets.

I prefer to work in Excel. I work in that on a daily basis.

Ahhh I see. Same here, I prefer more on Excel than Google Sheets given its versatility in a wide range of functions.

Great thing though, I managed to code a formula specifically for Google Sheets to automatically calculate the championship at Race 9 and Race 13 (not shown in here). Your scores are still accurate as a marksman ranger!

P.S. The teams' score is much trickier than I've thought, since the worst two scores are dropped as well.

Alrighty Freaky Fast drivers, I'm in need of your advice. Twice during Saturday night I got punted by two of you on corner entry. Last time collecting PaPunk making his night worse. I want to avoid that again.

My thought has always been to give the pass at corner entry so not to mess up their exit speed too much. So I always try to give the inside line if I know you are near me and run wide a bit. To do so requires a change in my braking in order not to run off track. Am I doing this right? Is there another way y'all prefer a lapped car handle it? Other than "go faster," what can I do to help the situation? Or was Saturday just a little bad luck for me?

Appreciate any feedback.

I wouldn't worry too much about trying to let people pass in the turns. I find easing of the throttle briefly on a straight is the safest way.

I can agree with that. Big willow will suck if you drop the edge of a tire. I urge you to proceed through the corners as if you are alone, when you hit a straight check to see if anyone is around you. If so hold your line and lift allowing the lapping car to pass.

Yes what the other two said take the corner at your normal pace it is the the faster cars problem to judge when they need to brake then let them by on the straight
