Results from last night's Race 10 are recorded. Congrats to Silver winner @NASCARNATE91 and podium finishers @Jw_wk1010 and @Fuzzymeca!
Over in the Bronze division, the winner was @GTR4MROD with podium finishes going to @PApunk924 and @TexasJDC! Well done to everyone.

Before we get to the race captures, just a couple of words about last nights event.
  • First and foremost, my apologies to the drivers that were in my lobby (B) and my mistake for hitting the start race button, before I captured the qualifying information. I was not happy with the error, as I had myself a pretty decent qualifying time that put me 4th on the grid. Realizing what I had done, I announced in the lobby chat for everyone to take 3 laps, and basically re-qualify. While this may not have been the "most popular" or correct decision, its the decision I made, and I, along with a few others, were impacted. I was told by one driver that qualifying time could be reviewed in my stream, but did not explain how that could be done. (Nor do I really understand how that would be done, as my stream is from my perspective, and that stream DID NOT include a look at qualifying times).
  • The BOD will implement a best practice for the described occurrence above, to avoid a repeat of my error.
  • There seemed to be multiple issues with people not having internet connectivity prior to the race, losing internet during the race, rage quitting etc. With that being stated, everyone who was not able to connect, lost connection or raged quit received last place points.
  • I will state this one last time; issues MUST be reported in the thread, especially if you get disconnected during the race. There will be no more "free passes" moving forward. If you do not report your issue, you will receive a DNF and zero (0) points, which are not eligible for drop.
Now onto the results:

NASCARNATE99 Ferrari 458 Italia 2013

This was my first post in ARL back on April 13, 2019. I ended up switching to the BMW M6 before my first race after some suggestions to stay away from the Ferrari. My first race was at Red Bull Ring which is where I later got my first lobby victory in the rain. Now, after 1 full year of racing I've come full circle back to the Ferrari and finally pulled off an overall victory. I never thought it would happen at Big Willow but it's cool to get it on home soil. Thanks to all the BOD for putting on an awesome league. I have seen huge improvements in myself over the past year that I credit entirely to the participation in this league, learning from others, and continuing to push every single week. I enjoy racing with all of you and look forward to many more to come.

Congratulations @NASCARNATE91!!! I'm super stoked to see your name at the top of that list mate. Fully deserved. You and Sophia were unstoppable, while myself and everyone else was out building castles in the sand. Seriously though, amazing performance man, I couldn't be happier for you.

@Jw_wk1010 great drive for the lobby A win as well. The FT-1 is strong at Willow and you drove it to perfection last night. No way I could catch you. Truly humbling.

Those disconnections were terrible last night. The lobby was pretty glitchy as well. At one point I was trying to let JW by and I couldn't tell where he was. The left, then flew to the right, then directly behind me, I just tried to hold my line and let him do the what was needed.

@TexasJDC impressive performance man.

Well done to everyone that finished and weren't booted by PD. I've had my fair share of bad luck, so I know how that goes. We'll have a better one next week hopefully.

This is why we do it man ty for the kind words and it has been awesome watching all of you guys grow and everyone in this league get more competitive week after week

I would like to apologize to @Missedapex420 and @Rinsky for the mishap coming out of the pits on lap 20. I recently have gotten a new wheel for my fanatec. I had to remap alllllllll of my buttons. This caused me to hit the start button instead of looking behind me to let you guys go. Then the PS button is the button on the stick to move the cursor left and right. when the game went to the start screen, i jumped to that to move the cursor to exit. When i did that, it pulled up the PS screen. I scrambled back to the game knowing that Ghosting doesnt always work. When that happened, i hit the button too many times and i "un-paused" my game making things worse. Somehow i managed to pause again, and then un-pause causing me to spin and making more contact with @Rinsky after @Missedapex420 had to drive off track to avoid my unghosted paused car. At that point i was so pissed off at my stupidity, i backed out to save any more issues with others. Its obvious that i need to get more comfortable with my newly mapped buttons.

IR's were filed on myself.

I would like to apologize to @Yugofan for the lap two incident, i have no idea what happened. It was like your car stopped, and i was already committed to my entry speed into that corner. There wasnt anything i could have done to avoid that.

I also filed an IR on myself.

If there is anything to come of these IR's, the BOD will attest that i am much harder on myself with it comes to penalties. However, @PApunk924 and @Herimopp89 will also have a say in what will be assessed.

Between the both of you, i need to step my game up. I ventured off to a few other cars the last couple of seasons just to see. BUT, i think its time i start focusing a little more into the practice i put in for these races. The Beetle has me pretty down about my personal speed, but i need to find something.

Dude! That's because you are stretched thin. This is known and @Herimopp89 of all people, has said it to you as well. Funny, because he's on the same damn boat. I cannot do what you guys do. Going from a N200, to a SF19, to a Gr.3. You guys are on another level. I've switched cars every season so far and I will next season, but that's totally different to what you do during a season.

@NASCARNATE91 and I are at a very similar level right now and I know for a fact that I'm still learning, he's stated the same. I personally wouldn't be in this position if not for this league and everyone in it. I've seen monumental improvements in my racing, overall. So much so, that I hit the daily races just to see how I perform and now I'm up to A+. That's 100% on you guys and ARL as a whole!

I try to do two things here...Learn...and be humble. That's my mantra. Don't let my gamer tag fool you.

No need to apologize. The car in front of me lagged and I had to brake way too hard. Right before you caught me, the car in front sling shot away from me and realized the lag but too late. I’m chalking it up to the many glitches I’ve heard about last night. No need to penalize. I feel like I’m kind of at fault for the unintentional brake check. I’d like to decline to press charges officer. LOL

I agree with @BGCaligula here @Neutty. Everybody here knows how fast you are. You’re probably just spreading your talent too thin and need to prioritize your focus.

I also have to give a shout out to @Fuzzymeca who showed a lot of speed last night. One to look out for going forward.

This is pretty awesome to see you say man. I am truly impressed at how far you and @NASCARNATE91 have came since I met you guys it truly is impressive.

One other guy I really want to comment on is @Nascarcory. You have made monumental progress since I first met you. I remember dreading to see you anywhere near a lobby I was in because I knew at some point you were going to kill me. Now I really look forward to racing with you you have really honed in ur skills and I know I can race side by side lap after lap and not have any concern.

To all the new guys (too many to remember them all) I look forward to the chance to race with you all and welcome to ARL. Now with that being said everyone pretty well knows I have made the transition to iracing. So nick and I talked a little about this last night and I have decided that this will probably be the last season I really run. I will pop in from time to time because I enjoy spending time with each and everyone of you. It has been a pleasure getting to know you guys and from what I've been hearing alot of you are considering making the moves yourselves so hopefully we will all be gridding up again soon.

I would move to iracing again to come play but I don't have the money for it. Mainly because the money I would use for it is and will be going to a real life effort. Which right now is even on a slow down lol.

On top of that is time. I wouldn't have enough time to sit and play to make the monthly payments justifiable at this point. Shoot, I barely have time to really do anything in Gran Turismo. Luckily there is the ARL to play in when I am here.

Maybe at some point I will be able to get back into iracing. Especially since they have more stuff in the game than when I played about 7 years ago.

I was pretty stoked about this (below). I had to check three times this morning to make sure I did the results correctly.
To be in the company of these drivers, and their lap times, is unheard of for me. Small victory, but first ever ARL fast lap! (Bronze)

Reported to the Stewards for being excessively fast and Technical Delegate for further scrutiny.

Awesome achievement there! I can never be able to find that 3 seconds' worth of gap in that sandpit since I was too slow most of the time. It's just too crazy when you accidentally tiptoed into the ol' dustpan with a massive high-speed spin. I think one of my last spins almost ditched the car on top of a crest.

Lol it was awesome although in the car it seemed to fly alot longer hahaha I'm just glad someone caught it and I didn't screw anyone up in the process I think we still had 2 or 3 minutes of quali left
Hahahaha! I tried flying the car, turns out it was too heavy and I wrecked the marshal post there.

I found this logo as well lol

Sorry for the late reply.

Don't worry about our contact...**** happens and it's not like you cause problems during our races so please don't file an IR for what happened between us.
Even though I got damage from that incident the Mustang sucks so bad at Big Willow it didn't really matter because I wasn't going to finish well anyway. That car can't handle long sweeping corners so my race was doomed from the very beginning.

@TexasJDC guns the gas, car starts to swerve
Heads fir a semi truck, jumps the curb
Truck hits a big boy in the Shoney's parking lot
Flies through the air, takes out the bank clock
Clock strikes a light pole, transformer sparks
Lines go down, town goes dark...

This came up my mind lol
