Great season so far. Though most of the results are confirmed, but it's still a small fight between the midfielders and the newcomers!

I'm surprised how much easier this season was compared to the high wear in last season which definitely had us skating on ice. But it's a good mixture of skills and technical ability to get around fast and decisive. Save for my multiple disastrous pit strategies that put me at the back of the field.

By my calculations, the team championship has been already clinched by the current leading team. Even a 1-2 finish by the runner-up in the finale wouldn't be able to cover up the 15-point deficit to the leaders. (including pole, fastest lap for both divisions, team bonus)

The 2nd placed for teams has also been secured, with a 16-point lead over the next under maximum possible scores.

So it's down to 3rd and 4th place to take it to the last round.

I hate to say it but the role of a slower car is to run a predictable line and NOT just pull over it is the responsibility of the faster car to get around the slower car.

This is exactly right usually if I'm the slower car at a safe point I will usually slowly let off enough the faster car can get around and I may lose a couple tenths but that's about it. The key is the faster car not making the decision to pass in a bad spot. Yes there in a race I get it but that stupid pass can ruin not only the slower cars race but his own as well. Common sense and driver respect are keys. Use them
