Decent race tonight, I had a bit of struggle on the track as some spots were totally "blind" at night conditions, while I'm playing during daytime here. The car felt nimble and responsive throughout the lap, wanting to get more out of its revs at every gear whenever possible.
Sadly, I wrecked the car suspension and aero several times down the exit of the second tunnel before the hairpin as I couldn't find a sweet spot. That totally ruined my qualifying and some pace in the race.
Gambled on my pit strategy and went a little too much on the softs, losing a couple of pace time during the first half. Second stint on supersofts felt good and fast until I hit the wall on the outside before the hairpin early and had to drive on damage for several laps, losing a lot on the high-speed sections. My third stint was much better, and I got faster lap by lap with more confidence. Managed to bring the car home in one and half piece, now for the provisional results and points in the bag.
I'm not too sure if I did hit someone down the docks hairpin, but I did feel some bumps and scratches along there in the early segment of the race. I do apologize if anyone fell afoul of the tight streets and into the walls by mistake because of my fat bum squeezing in. I certainly didn't paid much attention to my surroundings and placed a lot of focus on the road ahead.
