If that’s legit and it won’t be hard for me to get the Indy car then I’m down it’s just the grind I fear I’m going to have to go through to get it

Absolutely not too late, glad to have you join up, we are always looking to add new drivers!
1. Please read the first post for all of the league regulations, etc.
2. Please read the third post to select your car. You may choose any car that does not have 4 names / PSN ID's associated with it.
3. Reply back into this thread with your car selection and your PSN ID. Once that has been done, you will be added to the official drivers list.
4. Send a PSN friend request to the following: nog3861, TexasmostHated, Herimopp89, Neutty, Jw_wk1010 as we run "friends only" lobbies on race night.

Race #7 of the season will be this Saturday starting at 10pm Central / 11pm Eastern. Race day confirmation is a must, one way or the other, to determine grid and lobbies. This league is different from most, as we run multiple lobbies and consolidate finishing places based on overall race time.

the room should still be open at normal time it is just when racing starts i agreed to start at the back of the field because of being so late to the race...our race should be finished around 11:30 or so...I know there is 4 or 5 drivers driving in the event from what i can remember that actually race in arl as well so I'm sure that we all can thank you for being so kind as to waiting for us

Our goal in ARL is to work with IRS and SNAIL to maximize participation and the overall sim racing experience for everyone to enjoy. I know @aceboy127 @Neutty and @THRASH have all helped adjust schedules so everyone is able to run as many series as we can in hope to get the max participation across all 3 leagues. We appreciate everyone helping all of the organizers reach this goal bc you guys make the leagues not the BoD

May I suggest @TexasJDC @Nick Cannella @Herimopp89 @Jw_wk1010 @Ryan Kirk ......

I would hate to qualify and sit on track for 30 minutes waiting. I’m suggesting that we somehow find out how much time is left in the 2.4 and if we qualify a little later than normal that would be awesome. Getting into a good rhythm and then qualifying just to sit for 30 minutes especially with Fuji would suck and could cause issues with the start.

Or we could qualify like normal and then I also suggest running a few 1 lap races in both lobbies to practice the braking point for turn 1 to minimize any issues while we wait.


Sorry if this is confusing. The second idea popped in my head midway through the first section.

That's a great suggestion I was also thinking about qualifying...what I came up with was maybe going back to the "old school" qualifying for this one week meaning room opens at 9:45 and everyone is open to running hot laps until the 2.4 ends once those guys enter the room we start up the race

This is really interesting league. Though unfortunately I'm in the GMT+8 zone...

Perhaps I'll sit out and observe a little more since I'm not able to fully commit into a full season. Though it would be great if I could get a trial one day soon.

Everyone is more than welcome to join, send me a friend request (TexasmostHated) and feel free to join our practices and mock races anytime until your comfortable with signing up. Also theres a few of us who live stream the league races too feel free to check them out

Definitely would be more than happy to accept your warm welcome. I've just realized that there's a ARL Gr.4 thread too. Perhaps that might suit me more given that I'm pretty average on Gr.3 cars.

But having the best of both worlds would be something great too!

P.S. Do you have the Rookies' Cup as well? (hahaha)

The gr.4 series is a good introduction to arl when it started a few months back we used it to introduce drivers to no aids and since then have added minimal tire wear and light damage to help drivers get more practice in a racing environment. Your more than welcome to join both or either of the leagues we have a wide variety of skill sets across both leagues

Yup. I agree that Gr.4 is a stepping stone up for real racing.

In fact I started off with ASM active and countersteering to weak. Eventually I slowly shifted out of my comfort zone and went on with countersteering off followed by ASM off. Now I'm just playing with a little TCS in the mix depending on the power of the car.

I'd need to get a proper car first in order to join, and especially the liveries for my picks. That makes me a little embarrassed for not having them since I like it plain and simple.

Look into the 86 series ran by IRS. Althouigh not a "rookie league" per say, it does offer some good racing with the lower powered cars. The series I am referring to runs the Toyota 86 GRMN.
As @TexasJDC mentioned, feel free to join any practice lobby you may see when available. We are always looking to add drivers, even on a "part time" basis.
