The post-race chat was so bugged out, couldn't send a message out.
It seems that I'm on a bad streak on the last couple of races, wasn't doing good enough for the team and myself. The start was motivating me until a furry of incidents occurred and put me on the edge of the cliff for the rest of the race.

I had just taken a look at the replay right after the race, turns out I made a bad judgment into turns 8 & 9 and caused @Jw_wk1010 to get thrown into the gravel in lap 1. Carried too much speed in and tried to slow down and regain my posture, but the car just kept sliding across and into his path.
I apologise for the massive incident as I take fault to it, never intended to shove anyone out when I had thought it was a tap rather than a huge impact. Should have lift off and let go instead of pushing it a little more or braking, which would have caused a massive pileup. Clear cut I wasn't happy at myself for pushing my luck too much with the car when I knew I'm not up to standards. (If the Stewards aren't happy with that, I would gladly take a cut in grid penalty/timed deduction, or equivalent as deemed appropriate.)

I struggled for front end grip through the final sector for several laps and this cost me a huge shot. Bringing the car home 5 places down my grid position definitely wasn't a good performance. Second stint on mediums took the worst turn for understeer, and I only managed better times in the final stint on softs.

Lastly, a big welcome to the newcomers in the league. @Yugofan , I hope you're okay after our fight in lap 15 down into turn 1. I was impressed by your speed, though I wasn't fast enough to keep you up for the run.

Have you never had the pleasure of the abs/grip glitch?

Well the first stint of this race my car was EXTRA slippery. I know I’m in the Ferrari but I ran the 90 min race on Tuesday and the mock race and never put a tire wrong. Within the first six laps of this race my car felt completely undriveable and I ended up going off track. I wrote it off as burning up the tires too early and kept going. It seemed to go back to normal after I pitted.

Idk how you do it man but you have that thing rollin

Pretty much your running default abs and the game sees it as either weak or no abs (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) and you have no brakes for the entire race if you brake at the 100m board normally then with the glitch your late braking at the 200m board. 2nd time this has got me on a Saturday first one was catalunya

There is an instance, which I have gotten many many times now, (more so in the gr3&4 cars but also in street cars) where everything is good up until the start of the final, the game just drops your “abs” down to a level of “weak” even when set on default. To me it also kinda feels like a loss of overall grip almost like you are no longer on race tires but dropped down to sport tires.

The common method used to prevent this is flip flopping your abs just before the start of the final. Exit to lobby, stay entered into the race but drop abs to off. Go out on track long enough to have control, (I like to make a smoke show locking up the brakes). Exit back to lobby and turn abs back to default and go back on track, pass first time sector to get your qual time back in place.

Side note, I’ve also had it happen in the vintage Porsche race with no abs, where the game gave me abs in the final.

I’m honestly having a blast with it. I’m kicking myself after this race because I thought I had a really good shot at an overall. I don’t know if it was the glitch happening or I just over cooked the tires too early but I feel like I threw something away tonight.

Happy birthday @Nick Cannella! I know it's like the 100th one you've had but I hope you have a good day man!

There is just something completely wrong with this game when it comes to online lobbies and I doubt PD will ever do anything about it...maybe that can't I don't know.
The difference between my race and the ARL race couldn't have been any further apart. In my race almost everyone was turning 2:13 in practice a few could get into the 2:11 but no sooner than we started qualifying/race everyone's times dropped off into the 2:15 a 2 second loss. Why this happens is a complete mystery but it's something I've been fighting for 2 years now in my Series.

Now we go to the ARL race last night. In practice I could only get a 1:46 in practice but once the qualifying/race started I bust out a 1:45.00 lap time and grabbed the pole in lobby B and during the race I'm turning low 1:45 lap after lap. So in my race the lap times fall off and in the ARL race lap times got faster. It makes absolutely no ****ing sense whatsoever.
The only thing I can come up with is that my race has people from around the globe in it and that causes some kind of Information lag that effects the entire lobby. ARL is mostly people in the USA so Information doesn't have to travel as far nothing is slowing down the lobby.
I have not been hit by the ABS bug outside of my own race and it only effects me then when I'm the host every single time.

It's weird man idk wtf is going on but it definitely is a pain in the ass, how I avoided everyone going into turn 1 beats the **** out of me

It's the reason I gave my hosting duties up but all the issues are still there just not as bad. I will look at the replay to watch your excellent driving skills...awesome driving man.

I chalk this upto try hard pretty much...my lap times were pretty consistent throughout the night in both races...usually during the race your more worried about wrecking someone or wrecking your chances. So you tend to not push yourself to the full limit

Bro, you've been incredibly impressive in that car. Way better than I expected so hats off to you. Just watched the replay and you had a solid first 3 laps, doing mid 45's and gaining slightly on me. @Herimopp89 was your game changer imo.

When he got past Kinetic-Fullness, he started gaining rapidly and I'm not ashamed to say that a mirror full of that Mello Yello Beetle can get to you. So you're gaining on me and he's gaining on you and you're suddenly feeling like the walls are closing in. Then I start pulling away again because now you're looking back a lot more, braking later and driving a slightly defensive line at times. Your tires were beat by the time he got past. So I think that's what made your first stint difficult.

Anyway, I just wanted to offer some encouragement. You've been showing everyone what you're capable of this season, so keep it up. It'll only get better with experience. That applies to everyone actually, myself included...keep at it!

Thanks man, I appreciate you taking the time to review that. It doesn’t take more than a couple slides to melt the tires. I had been very cautious of that this season and never let it happen until last night. I definitely pushed too hard and made mistakes for all the reasons you described. A learning lesson for sure. One that I already knew, but sometimes it has to happen to serve as a reminder. Looking forward to next week. It’s been great racing with everybody this season.

Lot's of good driver feedback and interaction after an exciting race #6 from last night. Finally finished the results, which are posted below. The data book will most likely be updated tomorrow. Hope to see everyone (and more) next week!

Honestly the way you have tamed that Ferrari is just amazing to say the least. I am quite impressed with how you are able to be so fast and yet have such control over that car. the way @BGCaligula describes it is way worse then what it is really like I will almost always follow a driver until they make a mistake or leave the door open for a pass. I really enjoyed that racing we had in the first stent of the race. Like @Neutty Said in the chat I just really figured out this car.

Just keep clicking laps off man and the speed will even get better trust me.

Just keep clocking

Well I have to say getting the 2nd best qualifying time and winning the lobby B race only to find out you finished 4th overall and dropped to 5th in points doesn't somewhat suck. But using a one stop strategy hurt my overall time because of extreme tire wear in the Mustang as to be expected. Still was a great night and I had lots of fun. I'm getting better & faster in this car and that's the main thing.

Congratulations to @Herimopp89 & @Kinetic-Fullness on your wins last night.
