Lmao. Am I being called out here JDub? lol. You got your hands full in Lobby A as it is man :scared:.

Alright...I never thought I would say this, but I may not make it tonight....there was a shooting on the road I live and I cannot get home right now!!!! To my teammates at Step Dad racing I sincerely apologize, they will not let me through to my house. If I'm not there by qualifying is over I'm not gonna make it! Again apologies to my teammates. Good luck everyone!!!

Stay safe man

Fair enough, I've been lapped pretty much by the whole field.

It was just a fairly decent race for me anyway. I didn't make it for qualifying as I woke up pretty late. Been trying hard not to get off track or spin into another dimension, which I did except for one point where I missed my braking. I'm not particularly good at that circuit, consistently 5-6 seconds off the leader's pace. Eventually I just kept challenging myself to get around faster bit by bit and be consistent.

Recording a personal best on a set of heavily scrubbed supersofts made me a little motivated, even when the left front was dying out so badly. My second stint on softs is probably much better, managed to close within 2 seconds off leader's best late in the race. So I was pretty happy about the massive improvement I've had while overcoming some fear of the track. No more building sandcastles for now.

I've also realized the BOP update also made the car a little faster, but slightly difficult to get off the grid. Had a lot of wheelspin off practice start and grid, I guess I'd need to slip the clutch (if there's one) for a better getaway.

I got lapped like 7 times
I like to imagine they where unlapping themselves hehe
Don't worry. I got lapped 4 times, got SUCC'd at the final corner 4 times and blew my engine up once. That track has way too much S U C C. Just touch the dirt and it pulls you in kinda like Suzuka.

Absolute no forgiveness at Turn 9, I recall getting pulled off track so badly there in the previous season with the Ford GT. One wrong dip and it costs you everything.

I've also noticed everyone else running on the outside along the long, sweeping Turn 8. Is that even possible?

Race 3 results have been completed. Say goodbye to the California desert. Seems it wasn't to friendly to some drivers!
Thank you to all the drivers that came out to race last night. Next week is WILDCARD week. Announcement will be coming shortly.

Awesome stats always love to see that. I think you forgot to deduct my overall points because of my car change. Wasn’t sure if you had noticed unless you want me to keep the points then no complaints here. Great racing last night.

Oh you’re right. I forgot about the car change. Yes I will have to update total points.
Nice race though!

Compared to last season, this was horrible for me. HORRIBLE. The Black Rifle Coffee Dodge got a good jump off the line. Found myself sniffing at the Top 5.

Then Turn One. Three laps in and my day gets shot in the foot. From there it was playing catch up. And I never could. Ran off at least three more times getting damage twice and slung into the pits once, which actually worked out for me as I could make it to the end from there. So I had a good laugh over that. But was SO CLOSE to staying in. Speed from last season was gone, I could only average a 1:14 lap

My apologies to three people at least. I believe I got tagged from behind by one of them fake Mazdas while being lapped. I'm unsure what I did wrong at the moment to be in the way (besides still be on track) And I think one of the Coke cars sideswiped me on corner exit. While fighting for position, somebody caught us and ended up looping their car on the last corner. I'm assuming responsibility for all three incidents, I just don't know what I could've done different.

Had a really good fight with the #26 Miller Lexus for 10th and that was a TON of nervous fun. To simply be on track at the end turned out to be a major accomplishment for the team. To bring home a 10th in our race was a victory. War of Perseverance pays off again.

Jaguar Finishes P3

Jaguar driver PApunk924 brought home a 3rd place finish yesterday at Big Willow.

PApunk924 had this to say after the race. "We're happy with the podium today, although we would have liked to finish a little better."

The 3rd place finish places Jaguar in 3rd place in Silver Division. Along with teammates @Neutty (3rd place finish in Gold Division) and @Drummer79 (5th place finish in Bronze Division) puts Stepdad Racing in 2nd place in the team championship.

It was noticed that were was an exchange between PApunk924 and Mazda driver @SydViscus in the paddock prior to the race start. When asked about it PApunk924 said this "He said something about enjoying watching his rear bumper all race. Unfortunately the only time I saw it was when he almost got run over at the start."

@BGCaligula yes I forgot to unhide some rows.
I’m very thankful for all the extra eyes and to people who pay attention to this stuff.
My apologies. I’ll update the original results post in a few hours.

Yea, as like all dodge's we have good straight-line giddy up but once the turning comes into play we suffer. I had a helluva jump on 1 and 2 coming from 3rd out of the dig(had a 3 or 4 car lead going into t1) but it dissolved real quickly after that.

Congratulations to the division and lobby winners. Just decent race though it was the least of my favorites. I've tested the Mazda RX-Vision GT on day one and really liked the power curve and handling, it's extremely responsive and agile.

But however, I've decided to stay put with the Lexus RC F to better work on my front-engine driving style.

I waved a white flag last night....
I kept my head down all day, knowing if I missed just an inch my race is over. Almost waved a white flag right right before the start because I didn't felt like it.

Bulls and Arrows would like to thank Audi Motorsports for giving me the opportunity to race in the first two inaugural races this season. With 2 decent finishes it was great start but with the release of the new Mazda Rx-Vision I couldn’t miss the opportunity to take on this beautiful (fictional) rotary powered monster out for a race.

As the race progressed I felt right at home in the RXV and it’s amazing sound just fueled me to go faster, bringing an amazing first lobby win and second in class against alien like competitors. Needless to say I look forward to many more amazing races this season.
