WAR is pleased to return to season 10.
After a significant improvement from season 8 to 9, the Team members
@Stryker13,
@scarecrow937, and
@BPeacock2727 are excited to enter into the ring for Season 10.
“Had the point’s structure that is about to happen in Season 10, applied to season 9, WAR would have been
the victorious team….
uh huh that’s right…. We would’ve WON!”
@Stryker13 was quoted, sipping on his Fanta.
Regardless, WAR finished in 4th, season 9, 11 points out of a podium position, as mentioned still a marked improvement over the unmentionable season 8.
“We’ve got a new ride to rage WAR with this season!”
@scarecrow937 announces. He continues…“We’ll be in the Citroen. With Citroen’s new Gr 3 program, enthusiasm of their engineers, as well as the corporate backing from their HQ, it will be interesting to see how this new team fares in ARL’s Saturday night league – I for one can’t ***** wait!”
@scarecrow937 excitedly finishes.
It’s no big secret that Scarecrow ‘tolerated’ at best the Mclaren last season. His enthusiasm about the change was certainly noticeable. Citroen have a lot of things to prove to their customers, their fans and to themselves this reporter notes.
“Sponsorship for the season has been secured with the long time performance group of Holley Performance Products, which include such subsidiaries as Hooker Headers, Accel, Superchips and many others. With such diversity in the market and financial backing WAR is poised to do really well”.
@Stryker13 continues “now we just have to figure out how to get the other teams to be mature about this – after all – we are going to have HOOKER on the side of our cars”.
Not bloody likely will anybody be mature about this
@Stryker13 muses this reporter. Have you met your competition?
One voice that was noticeably not present at the press release was the (usually) boisterous one of
@BPeacock2727. This reporter caught up to him sitting quietly in the corner with his Rum. After a little prodding, we were able to get one quote from him and one quote only.
“we’re comin’ bitches”.
He almost whispers it but you can tell he was serious as a heart attack about it.
