Holy crap. Simply stunning race, Alonso was absolutely brilliant there, that has got to have been the best race I have ever seen.

And I watch the race on TSN (Canadian equivalent to ESPN). They get their feed from ITV.

I know! They just HAD to pick this race to show on network TV. I wanted to see this race live :(
 
It truly sucks to be an American right now. You guys should send hate mail to CBS, they deserve it.
 
I think I might fall asleep before the race shows here on TV.. it's 6:30am now ...

Another long 2 week wait until the next race ...

That was some race. Alonso did fantastically well to hold MS off, although the Renault certainly shifts out of the corners.

ITV went for an ad break and we missed the whole of the 2nd last lap. I've left a comment on their website :grumpy:

That's supremely lame on ITV's part. Whoever decided to go to commercial then deserves to be tarred and feathered for such idiocy.
 
They're playing the last three laps again. It's better than missing it altogether.

OMFG that was the best race i've seen in a long time, well done to alonso for defending MS, well done to BAR for getting there act together, but that ferrari is going to dominate for the rest of the year, haha to all you ferrari haters :) .

MS did great going into the corners, but lousy out of them. He did great under braking too. But, Alonso was able to get out of the corners better and that helped him keep the lead despite having less braking power than MS. Great job. Absolutely the best driving I've never seen. I knew I picked a winner last year, but it didn't happen. But, it's showing this year!

this is ridiculous. i stayed up ALL this time just to see the race, and now i have to wait another 5 hours. DAMN IT.

The reason alonso was getting out of the corners quicker was the torque that renault engine produces. it is a lot better than the ferrari engine for torque. The renault TCS system is also slightly better than the ferrari.

best race ive seen in a while, go button, fantastic between schumacher and alonso, that was fantastic racing
 
MS is 2+ seconds a lap faster but cant pass, that pretty much sums up F1 IMHO.

Why didn't he risk a pass??? I don't get Fi drivers nowadays. Thy ALWAYS chiken out
