Can anyone participate in these races? BTW if the answer is yes I have one request, have the races so you can use the AT transmission at least for me. My right and left shoulder buttons are broken so I have to use the automatic transmission since I can't use those buttons to shift with and can't afford a new controller. Hopefully I'll find my soldering iron so I can fix them soon, but until then I can't use the MT.

sure, 've been working on the time trials challenge and just started My own no buy car challenge this morning

OK so far for the above challenge I have a fastest lap time of 0:45:340 and a total record time of 1:35:568. Not sure if that is good or bad since this is the first time I have played the arcade side of the game in about 7 years. :) BTW How did you get a 1:03 time on the mini with the Z28 I still can't get a lower time than what I have with an AT.

Sorry I got the names crisscrossed in my head. :rolleyes: It was Stevisiov over in the Ultimate Gran Turismo 1 Time Trial Challenge thread.

He posted a time of 1'03.073 in the Z28 Camaro on the Autumn Ring Mini. I still don't see how he did it. Only way I could beat that time is if I run three laps and kept the highest two laps.

That first "Cold Lap" I couldn't get under 33.596. I couldn't get under that time with a custom hybrid that I made especially for that track much less a fully tuned Camaro.
 
Hello people, sorry for the delay, I've been quite busy lately (I have a life too!), but now I'm editing the challenge to the first post. Might as well give it a try.

I did post a lap time, in fact it looks as if I was the only one that did post one for this challenge.

Looks like I wasn't the only one to forget about this. The first post was never changed and no one posted any times. I have been busy with projects so it slipped my mind because as my Mom would say "I have too many kettles on the fire. :)
