It'll be a mixture, think part used wheel dealer from GT4 and part wild aftermarket and you are most of the way there

Not possible so no, but there's over 160 wheel options so it shouldn't really matter

Seems like Nathan's on a fire round this month, he made like 4 car models in the span of every 3 days! Normally it took him a week to make just 1 (or two, if it's similar)

Which begs the question? How was car modelling assigned in Beige? Has it been assigned to each member? Is it just up for grabs for whoever's willing?

Pretty much people just say what they want to work on and that kinda settles it, best way to do it. Assigning people on something like this doesn't work because they'll either but their name to too much and not complete it or they just won't want to make some of it!

Volkswagen Golf Mk4 remodel (both 1.4S and 2.0 GTI)

+ a bunch of menus, logos and smaller model fixes! There's about 4 cars in the porting/colour process right now and there's also a certain car coming next week which I'm sure is going to be of intrest to multiple people!

And had Holden been here there's no doubt that the Barina Cabrio would be here aswell. I can even imagine it being this Sydney Olympics Edition, but i think this is from '00, not '99.

Also, i think this month is close to April, maybe not, April has like 18 and this only has 9 to my count yet. But this month is more diverse in car variety, since April was mostly pumped by the Eurovans and Imprezas.

No just the Vauxhall version, in the same way the Cavalier is only Vauxhall

I know, i know, no racing mods in Beige. But what if, there are mods for these cars anyways?

If hypothetically, some of these cars would be ported to vanilla GT2 alongside the vanilla content, where racing mods do have some sort of reason, here's what i think their basis's would be.

I'm going to focus on the newly added models or models that have been based off an existing vanilla vehicle but does not have a racing modification in the basegame. Some are based on racing/rallying models based off their exact model, but there's some that are based off race/rally cars based off their predecessor models.

I'm torn on this, while I mainly follow the thread to see updates on the mod, I do enjoy @ToyotaVoltzS contributions.

I like the idea of this hypothetical, it could be worth considering a separate thread because it is interesting but my concern is more misleading people, sometimes people don't read correctly and may misconstrue it as race mods ideas and think there's going to be race mods when there won't be and never will be.

They've been disabled game side, the models are likely to be removed (barring issues) and even if you bypass that you'd need a new menu. We'd also naturally perfer people don't rip the models or make modifications to Beige Edition without explicit permission. (Given how shameless a subsect of this community can be that won't prevent it but it's an attempt).

Wouldn't be possible for many reasons and again would not condone that existing as I'm sure the A-Spec devs wouldn't either, they are two completely different mods.

That would take the content way above the limits the game has which limit how many cars, events etc. can be present in the game. This is the reason most mods typically remove content to replace it with the modded content rather than simply adding new cars and events to what is already there.

There's been a ton more work on menus too although considering you've seen the concepts behind those not sure how intresting they'd actually be beyond showing more of the car list. Event menus are starting to take a bit more shape so will be able to hopefully show those off soon!

Not at this moment no, it's basically a case of what a dev wants to make at the moment as opposed to any set rhythm or suggestion. I suppose it's possible but I wouldn't want to open the flood gates as that's an easy way to cause problems with people complaining about requests not being fulfilled in order etc. Rest assured if you've seen it it'll happen in time.

Swedish definitely won't be happening this month if you are following along with what was made in the prior two months you might be able to tell where cars are going to from predominantly this month!

I kinda see it now,

June was dominantly American cars (except for the Japanese-market Super Style)

July was the month for the EUDM stuff......

So, will we see more of the Japanese/Koreans for August? If the pattern goes.....

And will this repeat? Will we get USDM September, EUDM October, JDM November, and then USDM again in December, EUDM again in January, and then JDM in February, and so on?
