No problem. I thought it was funny how they played that song when you fail a test. That's not really a good time to sing "oh yeah" :)

I've got 42 songs ripped from the soundtrack right now, using the audio capture method (I don't have the appropriate softwares to rip from the disc). It's pretty much all the songs I liked at all, but I bet it's probably insufficient for some people's tastes...I don't know if I want to put them all online, it's 205 megs in all...

Special requests, anyone?
 
I don't remember but the title is called "Moon over the castle" (opera mix)...

I tried to find Gran Turismo 2's song and i can't find the intro of GT2, does anyone found any GT2 songs?
 
For those wanting to know how to shuffle: Go to the Jukebox and in either the Race or Slideshow playlists (that is if you have songs selected), go to the far right bar and you will se a bunch of options. Play, Stop, so on...until you reach the last option before Exit...

Ssomething (don't remember the name) and Shuffle. Its a really thin bar-option that is often overlooked. Hope that helps.
 
Does anyone know the song that plays in the ending credits movie of the NA release (with the 350Z on Nürburing)? You view this movie after completing the professional races. Thanks!
 
guys.. keep in mind in all versions im sure, that there are about 67 songs i believe, only 45 of which play "stock" in RACE mode; you have to add the songs to the RACE mode at jukebox

It saves it in mine..well, I don't really notice.. But I'm sure it does. The only tracks I have on are all the vocal tracks made by daiki (Breakdown, Good Days Bad Days, etc) and that one by James Brown. So, I really don't notice it that much.

It's cool that once you create a playlist of racing vids, that auto-play everytime you boot up the game after the intro movie (if its turned on).

I was looking at the confirmed list of music in the game on the site, and i saw that Van Halen's Panama wasn't mentioned and neither was Feeder's brilliant song Shatter. Why is this? ( i assume that the list on this site is for the American release as they always get their own soundtrack to what the rest of the world gets)

You listen to music while driving? That is always the first thing that gets turned off in settings. Nothing better than driving manual and listening to your car with no music
 
I have to say that the US music in GT4 just sucks. I liked the GT3 music much better. One nice suprise though was the Roots song "I Don't Care", I love that album and was very suprised to see it in the game.

The jukebox tracklisting on the European release is pretty much the same as the US version, with these changes;

- The 7 songs by Masahiro Andoh have been removed
- After "My Precious / daiki kasho" these are added;
Can't get enough / The Infidels
I Predict a Riot / Kaiser Chiefs
Michael / Franz Ferdinand
- After "Rinsa / Photek" this is added;
Swollen Summer / The Bravery
 
Can I say that the GT4 tracks are really really poor in comparision to GT3.....but thats just my taste in music.........plus, whats with the classical tracks.....you ment to be racing not taking a lesiurely drive!

If you haven't noticed, there's a slide-show mode as well. Some tracks are targeted at that mode, altough everybody is free to choose.
 
The reason they have such a wide selection of music is because of people's tastes. I mean come on there is Earth Wind and Fire on the soundtrack to some Hip Hop, it's all a matter of taste. However "Panama" is one of my favorite songs and I was thrilled when I saw that put up there.

It's funny, when I got the Daimler Carriage, the classical songs started playing the first time I drove it. It was humorous.

The GT4 OST don't have "Canon - Johnnan Pachelbel" I just love that song, it's classical but who cares ppl have different taste...and I just don't like classical music...
 
I was really, bur pleasantly surprised to hear songs like Snow Patrol's 'Wow', and Franz Ferdinand's 'Michael', but they work very well!
 
The PAL music is not too bad. What a shame they changed the intro music to the NA version. I have a mpg movie file of the NTSC intro, and the music used there was so much better. It just suited the actions on screen better.

Does anyone know how to rip the music off the game DVD? There's about 20 songs that I really would like a mp3 copy of. Any advice would be great.

I really really need Daiki Kasho's - What to believe, the final version in GT4 was different to the prologue one.....and it was even better!
 
This is kinda off topic... but I thought Id say it anyways.

I'm playing two games right now, GT4 and MVP baseball 2005 (EA Sports)

After awhile I felt like I was hearing one song over and over. After a while I felt like I was hearing music from one game in the other, and just kinda passed it off like that wouldnt happen and I was just confused.

LOL. It turns out the Rock N' Roll Soldiers "Funny Little Feeling" is in both games! Now its stuck in my head all the time...

Just thought that was kinda funny/interesting.
 
I can't get that "I predict a Riot" tune out of my head when I've heard it - so I've had to go and get the CD. 👍

If the NA version of GT3 didn't have Feeder's "Just A Day" - what track was used for the opening titles? I can't imagine anything else being any good... :crazy:
