I do not know if this thread should go here. I'm new. Anyway, I had newly got a PS2. With it, GT4. I bought my first car, a Mitsubishi FTO GR. I decided, as well, to import my license data from GT4P, allowing me to get my B License.
I'll skip a bit. I had now the A license, allowing me to do the money cheat (doing the Capri Rally and selling the prize car). I bought many cars using it.

Later on though, I got a new disc of GT4, and I tried it. Unfortunantly, it had a bug which would destroy my game. I loaded up my save, and went to drive my Vertigo Race Car (not the GT3 one - that was rubbish), as it was very nice. I entered the race menu, and something was wrong: the camera seemed to be panned upwards. In curiosity, I launched the race. Yes, my fears were confirmed - now I could only see the sky.

I could no longer play my favorite game. I had to delete my save file and start again.
So, here I am, in 2015, at the start with a 411HP Lancer Evolution 7. I've got a long way to go to be what I used to be...

Never came across these bugs on PS2. All I remember is the red clock of death.

A tip for starting GT4 again, do the first race on Special Conditions. You'll win a Cadillac Cien and with that car you'll be far in no time.

It wasn't a bug. It was me using an earlier/later version of GT4. :banghead:

Oh, those. Forgot about them. I did the cheat with the RSC. How much is the CIEN worth?

I'm afraid I think your unable to sell it but with maximum tuning it can reach like 900hp.

And, another way to make money it to do the Tsukuba Wet race in normal mode. This is also in the special conditions. After winning, you get a Mazda 6 touring car which can be sold for over a 100,000 credits. I remember using this technique to get the secret black cars.

My knowledge might not be so accurate. Last time I properly played GT4 was 6 years ago. ;)

What day(s) do the secret black Le Mans cars appear?

I hacked it using a PC. I can't go into more detail into how but I used a application to record on the computer.

A brilliant car to get is the R92CP, try getting the black edition. Totally worth it.

I unlocked a feature where they would appear on the dealerships. Not sure if this was a bug?

That's a glitch in Arcade Mode that allows you to access special color/black cars in Arcade Mode. I've fooled with it before. It also lets you run any car on rally courses, and actually race the Tank Car. Not sure if you need to obtain the special color cars in sim mode to access them with the glitch in arcade.

Fun Fact: If you remove the disc in a race, the game works perfectly until you exit it. Why doesn't it freeze?

I know. I believe it doesn't freeze due to the cache system, something technical. Music stops tho.
