What could the customization refer to?

Why would anybody ruin a perfectly good looking GTO?

I used to own a GTO so I find that pic very painful to look at:ouch: Mine was Black on Red. If it weren't for my divorce I would still have it:grumpy: I look forward to painting cars in GT5. Not like that though!

If I can get my cars to stance like this, and then hopefully even add a decent body kit, I will be happy with visual customization in GT5.

You could do that since GT1....
Lower car, dial in lots of negative camber, sorted

I wonder if we can paint stock rims in GT5?

I will only want to be able to paint them in case the LFA gets these rims...

But not these ones....

Thats what I thought and as far as that gto it was cancelled for a reason it was ugly and should have never been a Pontiac. As a Holden it was just ok.

Those look like the same rims, just one are in motion?

Different color. The top is dark silver metallic where the top is just a normal metallic silver.

Here's all 3 rims colors the LFA offers. (The 1st color is the one I like)

Oh I see. I gotta agree, I never liked gray metallic rims, they just look like dirty chrome. The only exception is if the car is gray, but I would still prefer black or chrome.

Yeah Yeah I know that much, but Its just I want the ability to change wheel size at will (not by just changing to racing tires) and also change wheel width..

Notice anything about the wheels? :)

I think he means control over the wheel size ourselves. GT4 had it where the racing wheels were bigger than the standard wheels but you didn't choose the size it was all automatic.

It's a given, there isn't one game out now that doesn't allow you to do so, up to a point though, you won't be slapping on 19-20s on most cars

I wonder if they have to model every wheel type from 14 to 19 etc, that's a lot of work...

No they aren't, ones the Viper GTS and the other's the Concept by GT Viper from GT5:P, it's not the ACR ;).

Time to resurrect some old pics with the new info at hand :)
Stickers/decals, banners, coloured wheels

Thanks for posting those pictures and videos, ive been wondering where that modified civic had gone... its a good example of customization.

Actually they don't use thew GTS name for gen 3 & 4 Vipers, It's the SRT10 Coupe, but yes indeed that is the Concept by GT and not the ACR.

Changing the size of the rims was one of my only requirements regarding customization in the game, if that makes in the game, pretty much anything else is a plus to me.

The rims really change the character of any vehicle, a car without a nice set of wheels is like a man who wears an italian and expensive suit along with dirty tenis shoes. It just doesn't work. :p
