And how can you judge how accurate the sound is based on a low quality live stream? That's my point.

I've heard NASCARS in person by the way. Unlike some people on this forum, I'll wait to judge the sound when I get the game in my hands and hear it on my sound system.

👍 Cant wait to turn it up like Soljah Boy :lol: i was watching it with my surround on Itdid sound to bad but i will make my judgment when it' in my living room
 
One final note on the sound from me, Have you ever heard an F1 car in real life? Then compare that to what you hear on TV.... No comparison!! Live sound will always beat anything recorded hands down! Microphones amongst other things don't capture the full spectrum of sounds! Then digitisation takes away a load more frequencies! If recorded sounds sounded the same as a live sound then there would be a much lower turnout to live events (not just talking about racing but music concerts as well)

To be fair, all these discussions are pretty pointless, NASCAR sound day/night transitions, premium standard cars. Everyone on this site is going to buy the game when it comes out whatever happens between now and then (apart from an apocalypse maybe) I know its good to have these discussions but will it affect us buying the game will it F!!!

We are all GT fans and we will all buy the game and play it until GT6 comes out!! No doubt we will all complain about various features that are lacking/included when the game is released but we can't really expect PD to cater for every single persons requirements! you can never please everyone!

Someone tried to go to Nurburgring... Looks like GT5 is UP NEXT on G4TV. Kaz has already talked once tonight, we`ll see if he does again.

There`s an actual race on the live internet stream.
 
If PD ever decides to do something else other then Cars, maybe they should look to doing an Aircraft game. The way they modeled aircraft in all the videos I've seen(GT Concept intro, GT5 trailers) is miles better then what Ace Combat had and those were very good.
 
Did any one else notice that the Tesla in the e3 trailer sounds almost the same as most other cars? I thought the car was almost silent?

You do realize there is a lot of artificial dubbing on the trailer to achieve a certain feel, right? Chances are whoever was putting sounds to it didn't get the memo about the Tesla :-/.

Wow, the sound is miles better on my Tv then it does on the stream.
