or maybe they will hire more staff!

Instead of creating these places for just photoshooting they could easily create interiors for dozen of cars

Did you remember back in the day Kaz said they were working on the HSV-010 GT?
And now he said he didn't know if it will be ready for the game...
Shows that they really work a long time at a car.

I want the game in November,
and sometimes I'm afraid because of all the whiners here,
they would delay the game to add more and more features or cockpits..
But than the game would never release, because there will always be whiners.

I think what Kaz meant by "We're working on the HSV now, but we don't know if it'll be ready for the game" was that he was working on the new HSV SuperGT car. 'Cause you know, the NSX is officially discontinued and it's replacement is the HSV. and a lot of the current NSXs in SGT are gonna be replaced with the HSV as well.

Guys I just thought of something about the Top Gear Test Track. When the Stig puts in lap times of various cars, he does so using a standing start. How are we meant to try and beat the Stig's lap times with a rolling start? That would mean we have the advantage because we are already going past the start line at some speed. We need a Standing Start! If we don't then the Top Gear track wont be as fun as I thought :(

THe only other way to make it not fun is to make the track modelled slightly incorrectly so everyone can get the time....

hmm.. I'm looking at your F1:CE...

But I swear i'll just mostly play that track over and over.. create my own board..

*In F1CE you can pretty much grab any car (even at aguri) and beat the real pole positions and fastest laps using only your contorl (i.e. no wehll).

Yeah but there isn't a HSV-010 but the Super GT version isn't it?
Because they won't produce the HSV-010 for the public, as far as I know..
so normally he was talking months ago about the same car that wasn't ready in the latest interview?

Has it occured to you that some of us might be more interested in photographing our cars rather than marvelling at the interiors.

Really don't understand the nonsense I have read in recent days. When GT5 is released I shall be more interested in racing rather than staring at the interiors thinking "oh my look at how pretty the interior is".

Personally I prefer detailed tracks because normally your looking ahead when racing rather than looking inside your car. From what I have seen the tracks look incredible.

If GT5 was in the hands of the GT planet community not only would GT5 be released in 2015 but Sony/PD would probably be bankrupt!

I do LOVE the photo-travel locations in GT5P.It's my favorite thing...followed by...NUMBER OF DETAILED CARS WITH COCKPIT.I hate to say it but - instead of those stunning and beautiful locations I would go for half of them but 50-70 more cars! *crying*

"Making Real Tire Smoke"....
the new smoke effects is very nice and way better than gt5 prologue, maybe the only bad thing is that smoke should be last longer in the air.

However... read that small article about smoke:
"Gran Turismo 5’s advanced physics engine calculates and simulates the surface temperature of the tires. This is applied to the basic principle of how tires generate smoke, and allows for the production of accurate and realistic tire smoke in the game."

very nice! And a very complex thing...
but... SKIDMARKS? Why did you spend ages on smoke physics, and you didn't spend just a few hours on how the skidmarks are generated? A few things: drift angle, tire composition (hard/soft) and... pressure?
If the complicated engine can calculate real smoke... why can't it calculate skidmarks?
That's incredible :)

Bloody hell... that is amazing.

EDIT: From the same link, about the TG test track:

"Stay tuned to find out what sorts of wild events are planned in the game for this location."

:dopey:

I can't wait to have a one-on-one with a mate online, just like in the series... the Impreza vs. Evo X, for example.

Hopefully, they'll offer a de-restricted version of the track, with no cones and stuff, where you have totally free reign over the runways 👍

Wow, just wow.
👍 for going for realism!
👎 for not seeing the forest for the rubber trees...:ouch:

Do you remember Kazunori's interview on Twitter? He asked what did we think when we saw airplanes in red bull's trailer!
That's the obvious answer: quarter mile car vs airplane on top gear test track!!! That will be amazing :) I'm sure that they are making it, it will be spectacular!!! (even if I prefer more cockpits than airplane vs car 1/4 mile drag race) :)

It was:
What kind of things did the last part of the movie trailer with Red Bull make you imagine?

Right! That's a clear hint at car vs plane drag races like Top Gear's!
I think that they will make an SLS vs Red Bull airplane race, both in GT an Top Gear next episodes! That will be amazing

I am expecting something like a "Top Gear mode" with monthly updates, to remake some of Jeremy's mad ideas in the game!

:D

I can just imagine pretending to be Jezza, doing track tests and stuff, talking to an imaginary camera

As long as I'm in my room, and no-one's watching :p

I was thinking of doing the hammond approach myself. Tho im not all that small. Maybe i could be technical and be james may :p

Acutally im sure that its a clear hint for some Red Bull F1 cars.

Why should they make something stupid like an aircraft vs car race.

Even a F1 car has almost no chance against a jet :D

BTW: Just imagine how PD would make a aircraft sound like xD
