If you watch top gear then they drove the Veyron SS up to 268mph when they had it for testing, the whole point of the Veyron SS was to reclaim the world record and they did it, this year.

To be fair you are playing the outsider fighting for the underdog, i dont think its so much that people love the veyron, just that you're wrong, the Veyron SS is the official world record holder, theres nothing else to say on the matter.

Will the 2011 Aero be faster? possibly, but the current one is not, so until proven, the Veyron is the fastest.

The standard veyron or the SS version? The stock veyron episode is 2 or 3 years old if I remember well :boggled:
