That is easy, of course its not. The McClaren F1 did amazing speeds with a naturally aspirated motor 18 years ago, plus it looks so much better.

Iv'e tried so hard to not comment on this debate due to the fact that it's not even on topic, but with what reasonable logic can you use to defend an opinion statement?

Oh, wait... You can't. I wouldnt care if you were expressing your thoughts (i.e. I think the bugatti is the best because a., b., and c.), but when you go throwing it around like fact, it becomes a totally different story. Cars are made out of passion for people with passion, there technically is no best or worst cars. In reality there's only favorites and not favorites. I could go around all day and say that the Dodge Viper is the greatest car in the world (and we all know thats not the case), but i'd be politically incorrect for doing so, just as you are.

Think of this from a transcendentalistic point of view, rather than a fake realist point of view.

I think it's a fairly simple thought. as far as astonishing accomplishments by cars go, the mclaren F1 is the single greatest engineered performance car on earth, while the bugatti veyron is the single greatest engineered grand tourer on earth. thus, they are not really comparable, and I'd put them above all other road cars built in the last 20 years, but at the same time, I don't know which I'd put above the other. they are both great cars.

Of course everyone has the right to state their opinion, however even if I don't like something I'd still acknowledge its importance and overall value. You just can't put down something without giving a proper reason just because you think it looks ugly. It's a fact that the Veyron is an engineering marvel by all means, no one can deny that, it's a fact that it was (and the Veyron SS is) the fastest production car in the world. You just can't ignore all these facts and randomly say that the car "sucks".
 
I think that once GT5 has been released.. there will be a update available for download which will enable RDK & other players to access that area of the game. 👍

True but did I ever at one point say that the car sucks? No, so i'm fine in that area. I do like and respect the Veyron, but would i ever buy one? No. Id rather spend my $2 million on multiple other cars. Have I once denied the status of the car? No. BUT, have I also said/intended to say that the Veyron is the best car BECAUSE of it's figures? Yes, and i mean it. Is the Porsche 917k a worse car because of the fact that it was a cramped, over-intesnsified La Sarthe monster? Well maybe, if you wish to think it is, but then again someone else might argue that an M3 E46 CSL might be better than both. Why? Well because it pulls certain strings in their heart that the Veyron or 917k could never do.

Just looking at things from my point of view though, i'm not intending to say youre wrong for thinking the Veyron is because your views differ from mine, I'm simply trying to say that your wrong because no record, law, rule, measurement, or any other statistical or logical value can determine the true worth of a car.

I think that's a stupid idea if that's what PD do, What about people with no internet connection or those that have a fair useage policy and cant use the internet at certain times of the day

You never said that the Veyron sucks, another user did though and that's why I criticized his logic. It's all good anyway, different strokes for different folks. 👍

i think it's locked until Nov 24th, by the PS3 clock (not the software clock that you can access). there is a clock inside the PS3 that keeps track of the time even if you change the date and time of your PS3. it's also present in computers. that's why even if you turn off your computer and turn it on again after 3 months it will still display the correct time and month because it has that system clock inside.

just a guess, though.

and again, RDK's copy has trophies in it. so i doubt it's a demo. i mean, the Bestbuy demos didn't have trophies.

Actually, he did both. He tested the Veyron's top speed and when the SS came out, he attempted to hit that one's top speed....and that is actually when the SS hit it's record breaking 265mph...not by Captain Slow, but by VW's driver.

The reason the clock stays accurate after system shutdown is the little button battery lol, but I cant see how it would be a time controlled unlock per say I mean alot of us know about that slight PS3 clock problem r.e the leap year and mines not shown the correct time since lol, But back to topic from the screens it does sound like some sort of update, Maybe something PD didnt quite have time to finish before the game going gold perhaps
 
they could be making a patch to content due to piracy. That i would believe if the actual delay was due to ps3 patch 3.5. As for the people whit no internet well im assuming that 90% of people have or can get access to the net. Anyway my 2 cents....
