People noticed the tyre indicator going red when locking up or spinning out?
The good thing..sound is phenomenal.
Now bad things..
1. damage is obviously not good..I would be much more satisfied if they did "driving" damage(impact of damage on driving) good and didn't touch visual damage at all, I really don't care how car looks after crash..but I'm interested how it behaves when driving it.
2. in that video with fireworks the 3rd gen Civic shifts like it has DCT(double clutch) transmission..fast as formula 1 car, which is totally unreal..and handbrakes from 150 mph to zero in 4-5 seconds..it needs at least 5-6 seconds with normal brakes, handbraking on such speed(especially in dry) would most probably produce rolling and what not..I hope that's arcade mode with all assists on
Because you can't install DCT on an old Civic just like that...
yes you can if you have the bank roll to support the 10k cost... there are a few guys here in MI running a dct transmission in there z06s

Universal sequential gearbox.

Being a racing Civic, it's likely that it has a racing dog-box. It's straight-cut gears allow very quick clutch-less upchanges. This is why it appears to be DCT-like quick between changes.
We need more gameplay on simulation physics, not arcade. It's boring...
If you watch the videos you will see hood view when the player is changing camera.I totally agree,
also do we have a hood view ? if no why polyphony didnt include it ? a problem in the graphics engine ? there sould be a reason...
it is disappointing to drive standard cars in roof view, and I dont find the bumper view immersive...
If you watch the videos you will see hood view when the player is changing camera.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they say a while back that there was going to be interior damage too?
Is it too hard just to click on the very first video on page 1? This video is one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PCPULU37sA&feature=player_embedded#!which video exactly please ?
that came from a combination of shaky translations and people refusing to believe that standard cars wouldn't have damage or interiors. we aren't getting interior damage.
Those Demos don't show the final build of the damage modeling. Another thing I would like to see is just how much of a difference there is in the detail in the standerd cars. Some videos of the photomode comparing premium and standerd cars would be nice to see. There's this great website called youtube, it has videos and stuff. You know what you will find on there? A lot of GT5 videos of body damage taken from people playing the game throughout the year at places like E3 2010, GamesCom and the Best Buy demo.
