Tekken can you please confirmed that standard cars and premiums can race together and some prove thank you.
 
I was just noticing in previously posted videos... are test facilities for measuring the 0-400, 0-1000 times and top speed gone? I would like this to be confirmed. It would be another disappointment if yes :(

There's already proof in 2 or 3 videos in the first post. Yes, they can race together.

I imagine that would be done on the Top Gear Test Track. We've seen a bunch of different clips now of a car or cars travelling down the runway part of it (787B vs. R10, GranTurismo S).

just give it some time and wait before we've all played the game.

When this thread started, I was really getting hyped for the game. This end of the week and a lot of that has gone, with some of the more scenic tracks removed and the haphazard car list and limitations on a large number of that list itself.

The leak of the game has had a pretty heavy effect on it, as since I joined, I've not seen such mass disappointment.

Well said. The videos have confirmed many 'incomplete' things about this game for me and has forced me to simply stick with Forza3 till the price drops on GT5.

The lack of cockpit view was the real stake through the heart to me. 👎

forgive me if this has been dicussed before (im new here this is my first post)
but will there be a 1/4 mile test track in GT5?
if so some videos of this would be awesome to see!

Is anyone thinking of doing a "car list" that removes all versions of the same cars? I'l like you can get a Mazda with or without AC and cruise control...

I was also a bit surprised at the lack of premium cars that are more inline with cars we all might have... Like I have a 350z, OK its a japanise game, so I'll be ok with a premium Fairlady but I don't see either in the 03-05 models... didn't prolouge at least have the fairlady?

I was thinking about making a comparison of all the official lists including GT4, GT5P, and GT5.. Unfortunately I don't have the time, but I bet it would be very interesting. I'd like to map out how PD used their resources towards cars over the last 5yrs given the information Kaz game on timelines.
 
To any that have the game early, what or how is the quality of the rally racing?

If it's good enough, rally the only draw left to me that might make me still buy the game.

Here we have a game with quite possibly the best physics outside of iRacing, 200+ of the most accurately modelled cars ever seen in a videogame, amazingly detailed tracks like Le Mans and the Nordschliefe plus features galore and you aren't all that interested.

I take it you don't actually like cars?

Hey, I'm sorry if this was posted previously somewhere else, but i'm trying to look for a certain video displaying a white Top Secret-Modified S15 and other cars drifting in GT5, did that video get taken down? dissapear into dust? anyone? :indiff:

Because I'd rather not spend 600+ euro (wheel + self-made custom driving seat + camera for headtracking + the disc itself) on a half-assed game?

Not to mention those who've already spent 500-1000 Euro in the hope the game would've lived up to the expectations...
 
is it possible the leaked footage we've seen lately isn't of the final game? i've seen the lambo and audi damage vids and its like they couldn't roll over and the damage is too week, not even a scratch.

I know, the game is so terrible, you and I have both never played it but we just know it's damn awful. /sarcasm

If you think the game is "Half-assed", then why do you need to buy all the **** you just listed? How about you buy the game, if you like it, buy all that unnecessary crap or if it's bad, sell it on. No big deal? 👍👍👍👍

Umm, I am close to that number. But if the game does not live up to expectations, and I have bought all of that...

I wouldn't blame PD for my purchase. I could have waited. It would be like you robbing a bank, and blaming the police for not catching you before you did it. :lol:
