That must be one of the Careless Piano Removalists' jets next door to Top Gear.

offtopic: does anyone still fear the following situation?:

On Nov 2nd KAZ will go on TV together with ashton kutcher and say "GT5 being released today?...NO!!!....ha,ha...you just got punked!"

I think it's a visual effect of the rather wide FOV causing distortion at the edges of the screen. The Jet Airliner is not moving.

That's trippy.. it is moving. It appears to be taxiing.
It does kinda seem like its moving... but of course it could be the movement of the car giving us that effect.

But like some other guys have said, why would it move? Isn't the TGTT essentially an abandoned airfield? Plus I don't think I've ever seen a moving plane on TG...

Why would there be an airplane then in the first place, if it's an abandoned airfield? It definitly looks like it's moving.

It's a long out of service aircraft used for training drills (evacuation, fire etc). The only way it would be moving is if it got a tow.

Blimey, it did move! Thought I was just tired from staring at the TVs, but as I'm not the only one... We can race a 747 in GT5. Now how about that! ;)

You watch PD we nail the car sounds but no one will be able to hear it as the 747 roars.

If you watch from 1:02 you can see the airplane is standing still. So yeah, it's probably for some training drills. It really does appear as if it's moving at 1:17, but apparantly not. :)

sorry for bad English. Actually it dosent move.. the car is slide so its optical sense of moving the air plane. if you watch carefull you will see a boxes or tires in front of air plane, the distance betwen them are unchanged, so the plane is not moving.

I had a closer look and am still not convinced that the plane is moving. The car has moved quite a bit down the track and is clearly further away from the plane. The change in view angle can give the perception that the plane has moved.

Great video 👍 Thanks for sharing

^^^ You also can download video from YOUTUBE (www.keepvid.com) and then playback it frame by frame in Media Player Classic for example.

That's what I did (well, using YouTube Downloader HD and Windows Movie Maker) and from that I made those screenshots shown above. :)

As someone said, it is a "fake" plane now, and has been used for movies like Casino Royale, and might be used for training purpose.

So yeah, I can't see why it would be moving ;)
