Did the demo allow for the "Extreme" difficulty setting that was announced?

Nothing said at Gamescon about "Head Tracking" and by the looks of things was absent.
Still waiting to here comments on the 3D if it sucked was okay or hey was actually nice and worth considering?

And the 2nd one

I feel like the passenger, slightly off-screen, is sitting there bouncing around, waving glow-sticks everywhere.

(Thanks for the video, Don 👍 )

@DonZonda: Thanks a lot mate, the uber-Zonda on Monza, incredible and damn, the oversteer looks extreme!

That was a great vid, appreciate it :). Really nice pieces of driving. Just one question: The car looked very twitchy under braking at times, was it really visible in the force feedback?

Yeah you can feel it , but it still needs to be improved , but the overall experience was great 👍

Some random shots from my collection. Click for 1600px JPEGS.

First, GT shots from the stand:

One or two more from the Kazunori intrview:

Translator-san is a really cool guy, I had to have a snap of him!

👍 Nice to hear, I'm sure by the time the game is released the ffb will be mostly perfect. Is it a step up from prologue or quite similar? Also did the feedback also vary from car to car for example could you tell if one car's steering was lighter than another?

Sorry for all the questions I'm just curious :)

Did you ask KY if he visits GTP?

We did in a roundabout way. Kazunori and the PD team do take note of the GTP site... but we didn't ask the question directly. His English is probably much better than he lets on, I'm sure he peers over a shoulder now and then.

We know Sony look in. :D

We did offer him a free membership, which was greeted with amused laughter. In fact, he seemed a lot more relaxed and chatty in our interview than he did at the presentations earlier. Maybe he thought things went well? We were fairly happy, I know that much.

It was definitely better than prologue , but I can't comment on the fact that there a differences between the cars with the FBB I didn't really pay attention. :indiff:

Thanks Venari for bringin' the show to us!! Great Job, Great effort! I hope you have more to surprise us!

the official US site says this about tracks in the Gamescon section, page 4 "Gran Turismo 5's selection of over 1,000 cars and 20 tracks / 70 track layouts".

@DonZonda

Fantastic videos fella. Well done.

I noticed on the SLR @ Le Mans video that the bonnet cam looked wonderful, pristine reflections of the surrounding environment. The effect really popped out for me. HOWEVER I did observe that overhead advertising boards didn't reflect on the bonnets and when you steer in to the shade the bonnet didn't get darker.

Honestly it doesn't bother me in the slightest...it's just an observation.
