I think you're right, unfortunately, now it's 22:00 pm and I have most likely to stay up till 7am untill I know everything, damned!:ouch:

*sigh* If you try and judge NFS Shift by the GT/Forza yardstick of being a realistic sim it's obviously going to be a disappointment. Which is what I never did when I bought the game - I measured it on the NFS yardstick and it blows Carbon, ProStreet and Undercover right the flip out of the water, the handling engine is much better this time around and there's definitely lots of building blocks in place for the series to improve even further.

Honestly, I'm VERY interested in the Multiplayer aspect of GT5, how it's going to evolve (I'm assuming) from Prologue into a much more feature rich environment for racing ... I assume they'll no longer be a need to meet up online in the forums to plan racing get-togethers

I can't believe it was switched to 12:30 am for New York. Anyways, I'll be here until probably 5-6 am updating whatever news surfaces.

Exactly how long is this conference? I ususally go to bed around 9:00 pm chicago time but this won't start until 11:30. If its only a half an hour or hour then I can watch it.
 
After seeing all the GTHD(GT5) features, i think it's safe to the color/livery editor is in..

as well as the liscence plate editor feature.

I would also like to see online play more like the tony hawks type of thing where once a race is over you go into free drive mode (still with same players) instead of going back to some lobby.
free drive=select car/setup car/drive around track/view other cars ontrack/chat. while host can change race settings, select track and start race

I doubt it but I hate sitting staring at a list of names waiting for everyone to press ready.

Safe? oh my goodness no. Kaz' attitude has always been to talk openly about what they want to do. I would love a livery editor but I'm really not expecting it.

I've had NO idea tony hawk games were in any way innovative ... but actually that sounds like a fantastic idea ... the track IS the lobby

I doubt it'll be that cool, but sure more expansive than simply "join a race"

Well the majority of that list was already featured in the GT5 features that was temporally up, so i have a little faith lol

tony hawks 3 was the first online game on the ps2 and it worked like that back then, it worked great but I've not seen many other games do it, only one I can think of was EA F1 2002 (PC) I think although there's plenty games I've not played.
