Loving everything about the Spec II and this Career Mod so far. Currently doing the historic prototype series and it's the toughest racing i've done since the time I raced in an onine league!
The recent update made the Pagani Huayra sound better, as it used to be so quiet and muffled.

The only thing I see would need changing so far, is the engine sound of the Peugeot 905b and the Formula Gran Turismo. The Spec II mod had the engine sound pretty well, as it sounds like an F1 car, but with the Career mod installed, at least on my game, it sounds like a downpitched Tomahawk X, and I don't think it fits well with the car.

Otherwise this has been great. Thanks so much!

so i've been working on endurance races in a-spec (before i was just doing test runs in b-spec) and something i've noticed is how the ai slows down to glacier pace as soon i pull a gap of like 1.5 seconds. route 5 50 laps for example the amuse s2000 i was up against was running 1:31-1:32 and then when i pulled away it went down to like 1:40. i noticed it before but in shorter races it wasn't as big of a deal. would you consider turning off this mechanic for the ai? it makes it almost impossible to balance my car with them to have a good race.

Hello, i think the A.I. opponent slow down in endurances is a original game related thing, probaly the opponents takes a slow down for fuel and tire economy, so for now, i don't know how to change this issue.
Thanks for the feedback anyway.

Hello, i can, at least, change for Spec 2 mod one, the Peugeot 905 engine sound, that fits better for a low rev V10 3.5, but for Formula Gran Turismo, i can create a V12 engine sound, for match with the car index.
Thanks for feedback.

ah alright, that's understandable. thanks for the reply.

Technically GT3 as well, but only so far as cars adding cars from GT Concept into GT3. I presume it would work the other way round too.

another question, you can add a turbine sound (pompage) for Japanese cars in the next update of the Shu-Tu-Tu-Tu-Tu-Tu-Tu-Tu-Tu
Maybe.
GT4 Spec 2 mod changes the skid and racing gear sounds.
Maybe on GT6 this can be possible too.

Were you able to also remove car/track/weather limitations for carrer&arcade mode, unlocks paints and customization like the GT6 Enhanced mod ?

I think no, because some changes can break the game (for example, some features that breaks the standard cars interiors).
For me is better keep these limitations without changes.

hello ! been playing with the Career Mod for a little bit now. first of all i'd like to thank you for the massive work you've done , i've been having an absolute great time with the new events , tweaks , additions and whatnot. it's a cool breath of life for GT6 !

i was wondering , how possible would it be to continue adding the Seasonal Events that are not yet recreated by Spec II ?

Thanks.
Maybe by finding these events thumbnails and using the event generator modding tools, it would be possible.

there is an archive of every seasonal event added to GT6 made by the community !
perhaps that archive could be useful as it includes event details (event type , restrictions , time/point targets) and prizes (credits , paints and cars) as well as screenshots that include the thumbnail .

if it's possible with all of this let me know , i would gladly help you group thumbnails and event details !

Hi I am new to playing Gran Turismo 6. Played GT4 many years back. I have installed the Spec2 Mod, and Career Mod ver 2.7 on a jailbroken PS3. Working great. I then installed Career Mod 3.0 and 3.1, using FTP, everything seemed to work. However, I actually read the Changelog last night and I see that the changes made from 2.8 onwards do not seem to be in the game. The events you have added are not there. Do I need to first re-install the Spec2 mod, then install the latest Career mod update for the changes to work?

been a while since i've said anything, overall i've been enjoying everything the mod has to offer, and now with the gt7 sounds it's even better, gives those sounds more variety. however i do have one thing to note: the bigger break between updates.
it may be just me, but i personally think the bigger break is actually better rather than releasing updates weekly or every few days. say you've made an event then you release it instantly, but i think it'd be better if during the times the updates are more active, to instead spend a couple weeks making a lot of content, and then release it as one big update. so instead of let's say one new event and 30 car sounds after a week wait you do like 3-4 new events and 100+ car sounds plus a small bonus feature. i think it'd make each update feel significant for the growth of the mod. that's just a thought though, by all means continue as is, i will continue to enjoy it regardless.

I first install spec2 mod every time I install a new version of career mod and everything works well
