hello, i just wanted to apologise for being pushy about all my requests for this mod. i realised after the car sound guy that i myself was asking for too many things, so i'm sorry for that. continue doing what you're doing, this is truly a great mod!

No problem.
I don't think you was being pushy with your suggestions and requests, so, different from the other guy, your requests are being great helpful for my mod development, not being only a "improve this car sounds for stay perfectly identical as in real life or hardcore racing sims because I'm your boss and I'm paying for your mod" type of requests.
But, anyway, glad to see you realize this.
Enjoy my mod.

this is not a request but the chase camera is a bit too low, on certain angles its difficult to see cars and the track ahead of you. raising it a tiny bit and maybe tilting it slightly downwards would alleviate the issue. Something else that im not sure you could do something about is the pathethic FOV (44) in GT 6 ,120 MPH in game feels like 30 MPH in real life.

there are also some audio regressions.. the R32 GT-st is back to sounding like a vacuum cleaner

im sure the reason its so low is becasue of performance

this is nitpick but some events like the first sunday cup might reward a bit too much money.

Everything else is really solid so far

( Im still sad that Sierra time rally doesent work on spec 2 though 😭 )

Hello.
You can adjust the camera FOV in the multi monitor setting in options menu, setting in the server mode, even when you are using only one screen.
About The chase camera position, I don't know how to change it, because I just ported from another mod.
About The mentioned engine sound, I think this is just a matter of one's point of view.
And about the first Sunday cup, I think is not necessary to change the rewards more than the actual payouts, for don't break the progress system.
And about Sierra time rally, I had complete some stages without any issues, both in Spec 2 and my mod.
Anyway, glad you like my mod.
Enjoy.

i ended up reverting back to spec 2 again becasue of the car audio and the sound quality difference on the GT-st and Lexus GS300 is night and day.. on spec 2 they sound almost completely authentic to real life.

its not all bad though there are certain premium cars that i do think sound better on you'r mod ( like the honda fit rs ) however most standard cars i think sound significantly worse and not even close to real life

i feel like this is asking a bit too much.. but is there anyway you can maybe package up a version of the mod without the car audio changes? becasue you'r added events are really great but i cant get myself to sacrifice car audio for them

i would look into doing it myself but i dont have time to deep dive into GT 6 modding right now

also thanks for the tip on changing the fov through the multimonitor settings, it worked perfectly

Ok.
I respect your point of view and decision.
Thanks for feedback anyway.

Is there a list of the new events to read before installing the mod? I was curious to check it out before committing to anything,

Or if someone can like record the menus and go through each new event in the menu just to show them all off? Something like that.

No.
Sorry.
I will made a one when I have time.

Modify the sound of the Ford Falcon and Ford Mark I 66 so that they sound like the original, or correct it, as they sound bad compared to the original, which sounded good.

Sorry my friend.
I will only make these changes if it were bad for me, which isn't the case.
I think it is just a matter of perspective.
Suggestions and requests are welcome, but will not get above my creative decisions, because I'm the modder here and I decide which is good for it.

I tried this mod after using Strato mod, and I must say it is most impressive. However, I had been using the modded near FOV with Strato, but didn't like it. But after installing this Career mod it's still using the near FOV. Is there some way to change it back without installing the non-modded FOV Strato then reinstalling Career?

Hello.
Thanks for feedback.
In the moment isn't possible to change the camera FOV to original in my mod.
What you can do is go to options menu and change the camera FOV via multi monitor setups, setting this option as "Server".
But maybe I can make a separated version of my mod with the default camera FOV in the next update.

Hi! I noticed a problem with my Honda S2000 type V. Specifically, the sound is repetitive and muted at high revs. Thanks! upd:

With racing exhaust

The Shelby Series One sounds exactly the same as the Ford Shelby GT500 and the 2013 Ford Mustang BS302. Change the sound system for a better one.

Change the Ford Falcon sound to the original vanilla sound of the Ford GT40 Mark 1

This mod looks like exactly what GT6 needed. Didn't know there was a resource manager here on GTPlanet, I'll have to use it when my mod gets closer to something stable.

Hey, I have some questions about the mod and inclusion of stuff from Strato Mod.

Biggest problem I have from Spec II mod is the massive difficulty on gold times for some licenses. Are you using the easier times Strato reverted to from Spec II mod?

From Strato Mod, the seasonal time trial laps restarted every time you crossed the finish. In Spec II mod, the correct behaviour is present, where you keep doing laps until you quit:(with invalidated laps etc). Which does this mod use, the bad Strato Mod method of restarting after every lap, or the correct Spec II method?

In Strato I really enjoyed the increased difficulty of A.I. cars, but didn't enjoy the damage so much (many races were impossible due to A.I. aggressiveness). Does this mod have damage present in all events, does it have increased A.I in all events?

From Spec II mod, the MiTo engine has an annoying clipping sound at high revs. It's very noticeable in the first National B license test. Is this fixed?

You're using the Performance Mod stuff, but I know that nod causes interior cockpit graphics glitches. I race exclusively in cockpit view, are these glitches in this mod?

Lastly, I have some requests if your interested in doing cool stuff that I've always thought was missing. Admiester had a semi-working used car dealer script, would be good if that was included. And I don't know if it's possible, but adding pole position lap time events to determine the position you start in the races would be awesome (it was in an old GT, but they dropped the idea).
I know this is old, but the glitchy cockpits originated in Customization Mod, not Performance. Unfortunately the creator of Customization Mod left the community and it's unlikely it'll be fixed.

The low FOV is to make driving with a wheel easier. Low FOV is better for being on a smaller screen. Higher FOVs don't suit simcades or sims at all, it's only good for arcadey games.

FOV can be changed in car model "info" file and using one of the 010 Editor templates Nenkai made. However this means everybody would be forced to use whatever FOV you decide.
